Ever since I've moved to New Jersey, I've noticed that a LOT of people up here are downright disgusting, entitled and disrespectful.
I live one street away from the beach, and one street away from the border of margate, which is known as a Jewish Community living area. The people that live here are those who can either own a beach house all year for permanent residence, or rent one for 3 months out of the year. My permanent neighbors seem to be decent people, not loud, they won't go out of their way to say hello or be neighborly, but they also won't be rude or anything to you and will say hello back.
Now the summer months, unfortunately are filled with tourists who I would happily ram with an elephant if it was legal.
Everyday they are here at 7am, screaming, shouting, letting their kids run into streets or letting them yell their lungs out, at 7 in the freaking morning. They have zero respect for others around them and they leave all their dirty trash around everywhere. They've also made the seagulls an even bigger annoyance because they feed them even after being told time and time again to not do that. There's even signs up saying not to feed them because that is how much of a problem that's been caused.
The other thing is, these are the most self centered entitled people I've ever had the misfortune of being around. I've had tourists sit right near us in their cars when me and my fianc? get home with our daughter from errands or a day out, expecting us to move for them as if we don't live here.
I don't understand how people get this disgustingly gross but I can't stand about 99.9% of the tourists that come here. Not to mention the ignorant neighbor who lets her giant Scottish hound almost topple my daughters stroller over because the dam mutt has never been around them.
