Why do my most favorite villagers move out before my ... not favorite villagers?!

So far I've lost about 3 villagers that I really liked. (my fault, wasn't checking up as often for a little while.)

But, why do they always seem to be the ones that move out over the ones I really want to MOVE!??

Like... right now... I have Quillson, Peewee, Tucker, and Iggly. And, I WANT THEM ALL TO MOVE; especially Quillson... Charlise FINALLY moved out, recently. But, these guys just won't GO.

And, in the process, I lost Goldie, Whitney, and EUNICE. I loved Eunice. I love the sheep. I was genuinely bummed when she left. Bahahaha.

Does this happen to you guys? Or, am I just cursed? Haha.

It's always been like that. When you want a villager to move, they never do, but the villagers who you like and form a bond with decided to leave. It's annoying but that's how the game is I guess. I think the higher friendship you have with a villager, the higher the chances are that they will move.

That sucks That happens a lot to me! One of my favorite villagers moved out and I was so heartbroken :(

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Bahahaha. I thought I just had horrible like. My villager lineup is so far from ideal right now. I want like... 4-5 of them to kick rocks. But, I have a few I really do like. My faves right now are Apple, Ankha, W. Link, and Epona! But, the others would probably be better off in another town.... Haha. (I feel so mean, but I just don't like them. Quillson, especially. The other day, he was like "Dhar, I'm moving away." And, I was like THANK GOD, PLEASE DO, BEST OF LUCK TO YOU. And, right after that he was shocked and said "WHAT?! I thought you'd ask me to stay! Good news, I'm not going anywhere." I WAS SO FLUSTERED. Bahahaahha)

I wonder why friendship would cause a higher probability of them moving?! That's so bizarre...... You'd think it be the opposite. I was always told that ignoring them, denying their requests, etc... would make them move quicker. But, so far, that hasn't been the case. I'm about to resort to the ol bug net method. Bahaha.

Eheheh... I love Tucker... he's a cutie imo, before I stupidly reset to get my new town, we had a code name and everything, we were like besties! When Tucker does decided to move out though, let me know! I want him ;)

I will gladly hand him over. I am NOT a fan. Bahahaha.

Yes this happens to me too and it makes no sense. You would think that one you ignore/ mistreat would want to leave not the one you like and do everything for. The system is backwards.
I tried everything to get Purrl to move and she wouldn't budge. I wouldn't talk her, would push her in pitfalls, hit her with my net and leave trash around her house but nothing worked. It was years before she finally moved. It really is annoying.

YEARS?!? Oh my gosh... Bahahaa. I thought months and months were bad. But, years?! Uhg. I'm really hoping some of these problem villagers don't end up staying for THAT long. Quillson has been the worst. No matter what... no matter freaking WHAT... he just doesn't want to go. I wish they'd implement an option to move them... But, maybe that'd make everything a bit too easy. Idunno. I really just don't want Quillson in my town, anymore. What's even weirder... Charlise moved in WAY after him. And, she ended up leaving before him. (total relief, by the way.. .she's probably one of my least favorite villagers in the whole game...)

I hate when this happens, it can take ageeeeessss for villager you don't like to move out but as you heard the higher the friendship, the higer the chances of them moving out, so maybe you should try bond with the villagers you don't like? I'm not sure if it works that way but its worth a shot lol :)

Actually, pretty much the opposite happens for me. Almost every time I want to move a villager out, one of the ones I hate will tell me they're moving. Maybe it's just good luck?

Ugh I know right? It's taken forever for Pudge to FINALLY ping me to move, all my dreamies wanted to leave before him :'(
Like I give you guys fruit, fish, letters, etcetc and you still want to leave me?? So rude lol

I think the higher friendship villagers move out because if you have done lots for them, they're gonna be like "ah, I've had lots of fun in this town, now time to go bye bye" while villagers that you ignore can say this when you agree to let them move: "well I wanted to move but I think I should stay longer because I wanna have a better friendship with you". Yes, they actually say something like that.

I also think it could be because those villagers were in your town for a long time? Usually some villagers that lived in your town for long want to move more, while some stay.
