Why Did You Buy Animal Crossing New Leaf??

I've always been a huge Animal Crossing fan. My first game was the Gamecube version. I loved it so much, so when City Folk came out, I just had to get it! And that lead to getting New Leaf and becoming an even bigger fan of the franchise.

Never gave the series a shot before I got City Folk a month before New Leaf came out.

Well, it all began when I was about 7 or 8. lmao. One day, 7 or 8 year old me decided it would be smart if I crossed the street while playing Animal Crossing Wild World, and that that would deem me a badass. Not really. I just didn't wanna stop playing for 5 seconds to cross the street. I almost got hit by a car because of that, and my mom took away my older version DS and animal crossing. I was bitter and I never really got over it, I guess? It kinda sat in the back of my mind for years until I finally asked for a new DS and Animal Crossing New Leaf for my 15th birthday last year. lol

I only had two games before I got my first Animal Crossing: New Leaf game.
Mario Kart 7 (which was pre-installed) and Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon. I completed both of them, and I wanted to play something else. I kept hearing about Animal Crossing, so I decided to try City Folk first in the school holidays.
Turns out I wasted on average 3 hours per day on City Folk XD

So I decided to get New Leaf, and I felt it to be very, very, very enjoyable <3
In my very first town, all the debts were paid, got most of the furniture/clothing items, and Dreamies...but I wanted to start fresh, and this is where I got a second copy. I made it a temporary cycle town to give back to this lovely forum, and then began to start on a horror themed town. Then I realised how terrible my first town was: Dreamies in bad places, town map is bad, etc. I resetted that town on January 4th, and I'm currently working on my new town

I used to be obsessed with Wild World in middle school and I also bought City Folk (but I wasn't that into it); when I saw that there was another Animal Crossing game for the DS, I had to buy it!

I had Wild World and City Folk and completely loved both of those, so I had to buy it (along with a 3ds to play it on...)

And then I bought a second copy because I had a gift card and my main town was nearing completion.

You have ACNL if you're reading this, right? You bought this game for a reason. To kill time? Peer pressure? Or just simply you have the other games and this was to add to your collection? Everyone has differences, so why did you buy Animal Crossing?

For me, I was given the gift by my friend, who had an extra copy. He was going to "cheat" with the game, but he decided to give me the copy. Then this website happened and I joined also because of him. :3

I got ACNL because I have every other game in the series, and I <3 it.

I really enjoyed ww and cityfolk(not really cf eh) and I think my cousins or something showed me an ad for new leaf and we got really hyped and watched a bunch of lin and ko videos and got obsessed and I ended up writing a really crappy essay for my parents on why I wanted the game and why it was good lolll

I liked WW and CF, and I ended up keeping up with everything on NL. I remember getting really excited about things like being able to swim with a friend.

I never actually expected to get so into it I'd continue playing for nearly 2 years, though.

I personally loved Wild World and City Folk, so I died when I heard that there was going to be one for the 3DS.

It's been a prized possession of mine since June 13, 2013.

I had a dream...

Bought the games 2 days ago.
Why I bought it is a complete mystery.. The game just popped up in my head. (This happened also like a year ago)

Watched some YT video's and then I decided to just sell some games and buy this one from that money x)

No idea how long this game will stick to me but I am enjoying it so far.
