Who's keeping diving creatures?

I'm not keeping any of mine since my storage would fill up too fast as I'm already hoarding stuff for CJ and Flick. I wouldn't be surprised though if they created or brought back an npc specifically for diving creatures so I'd start keeping all of mine then.

I have a few in my pet store and maybe I'll put some in storage there just in case. You can't know if CJ will get the option but you'll see once he get that some of the current creatures are not in the sea anymore.

xD My 3rd player has a max house so i'm storing the creatures there. I was on a quest to get 1 of each fish/bug model and greatly regretted not keeping a lot of cool creatures back then for extra models...

I have several horseshoe crabs named Oscar dotted around my island. Once September rolls around in SH I’m going visiting (if I haven’t gotten a switch for my own island by then) for spider crabs. I’m also holding on to 3 gigas giant clams in the hopes that we get diving creature models.

Spider crabs will LITTER my shores once I’m able to catch them lol

I’ve saved a couple horseshoe crabs because the animation when you click on them is super bizarre (not sure what I’ll do with them though).

Storing some seaweed too because of the sound they make when you run over them. I might line them along a creepy wooded trail or something.

And then I have one Gigas Clam which I feel would be perfect for a fancy loft room.

I sell most of them, but I keep the occasional jellyfish. I put a jellyfish outside of my museum just because I liked the design. I was hoping I could get a model of it, before I knew they didn't have them.
I'd love if they added it though, because I'd love to have a jellyfish model.

I like keeping any of the critters that display without aquariums or display in buckets. I saved up a lot of sea weed too so I don't really need to use them anymore. Nowadays I mostly make my money off deep sea diving selling everything. I enjoy it more than fishing

I guess I'm really just set on the snapping turtles lol. I don't like the isopod's bucket or the horseshoe crab's legs. I do use a bit of seaweed on some beaches - I like the seaweed-on-barrel idea, may implement if I craft multiple barrels. Not sure if I'll keep a spider crab, who knows if I'll have room on my island to throw it down somewhere by next March.

I've been keeping at least one of each one that I really like, such as the pencil urchin, spider crab, and octopus. Some of the others I do have a few more of, like the sea star and urchin, just in case models become a thing.

If I do end up wanting a model in the future, I don't mind swimming for them again. A lot of my storage is taken up by clothes, and I don't want to fill more of it up with things I don't need!

I'm hoarding a bunch of spotted garden eels rn in the hopes that someday I can have an army of models on my beach poking through the sand.

i kept only a couple of seaweeds and starfish. and the big one, forgot the name, for decor. but i'm not stocking them up in my storage as there's no models for them. if they ever add that feature, it's so easy to get them anyway. like, i get a ton just by searching for the elusive scallops lol

I’m selling them. Very easy bells! I think if we are ever able to get models of them it’ll be pretty easy to get 3 of most things I would want models of (octopus, crabs etc) However I do agree that diving can be really draining, sometimes it feels like you’re swimming quite a while until you see the bubbles surfacing! Buuut the diving and swimming mechanism is much much smoother than of that on New Leaf

Haha turtle is illegal to sell here so it's store property at the moment. Hamster is ok. Is it a present?

Tell me about it haha. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes to even get a scallop XD But last 2 days I got it the first try Hope I can hold on to that streak haha

I forgot about horseshoe crabs. I keep everyone of those I find, love putting them all over my island. also keep some seaweed for decoration and in case it is ever part of a recipe

I'm keeping mine because I've made a sea aquarium area outside of my museum on the beach. So I've been saving one of each and ultimately this week I'm deciding who has the coolest tanks and the rest will be sold off!
