Who's getting a Wii U this Christmas ?

I was thinking about it but honestly there are just so few games for the Wii U right now. I also do not understand the whole handheld screen gimmick.

I got one! I managed to nab Sonic Lost World, Super Mario 3D World and Batman Arkham Origins in a video game sale for pretty cheap. I plan on getting MK8, SSB4, Lego City Undercover, Watch Dogs, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3 and the eventual Paper Mario and Animal Crossing games, plus whatever else catches my interest in the future!

I have to say guys, I had never played an Assassin's Creed game before but this is the game I played the most this fall (AC4). The multiplayer is great. Go grab one if you want great MP. After that, I must have played The Wind Waker and Injustice Gods Among Us the most. And some Wii Party U and very little Super Mario 3D World.

I got a WiiU in April

Actually, my brother did, but hey-ho, I use it too.

We got Disney infinity for Wii U this year though, and I love it!

I'm spending my ?50 Christmas money on:
Need for Speed: Rivals (for mah Daddy)
2 Disney infinity characters (Probably Rapunzel and Elsa)
Disney infinity power discs.

For my own gaming, I got Wild World xD I felt a bit like a noob with my first AC game being New leaf, soo yeah c:

Wasn't into the whole handheld screen at first either honestly, but once I used Off-TV play and played Lego City Undercover I never realized how much I need it. O:

I've heard otherwise. It seems the Vita/PS4 connexion is choppy at best and doesn't equal what the Wii U offers.

I mainly play Wind Waker HD with Off-TV Play as well. Even when both are on, the connection rates are very smooth and most of the time its hard to hear a lag in audio.

I got a Wii U at launch. I kinda regret it but now that it actually has a few games worth playing I really like it now. I got Super Mario 3D World, Wonderful 101, Sonic Lost World, Wind Waker HD, Rayman Legends, Sonic all Stars Racing Transformed, New Super Rehash Bros. U, and Nintendoland.
