I think either Kiki or Gaston (or Roscoe) would be pretty capable, though I think Kiki would give in to demands a little too easily and/or be intimidated by the pressure and stress involved. Gaston/Roscoe would maybe be too brutally honest with everyone or be too confrontational or standoffish (at first).

Maple or Diana.

Maple is such a lil sweetheart and she honestly kind of reminds me Isabelle. Good-natured, sweet and driven to help the town be a welcoming place for all the villagers to live in.

I also think I'll be very comfortable with letting Diana take the reins. She might not be as motivated to keep up with the town maintenance--making sure it's all cheery and perfect like Maple would but Diana's got a good head on her shoulders. She level-headed and she's got that dash of spunk that would help her sort out the more troublesome villagers.

This. Plus Molly is the only villager in my town who has been able to influence other villagers to wear her shirt and steal her catchphrase without me noticing so she's already good at telling the other villagers what to do. XD

Haha, I bet it's really cute xD. In my girlfriend's town, Walker put a toilet in front of his piano and it was super cute .
