Pascal is my favorite. I liked his quotes better in NL, but regardless he is my favorite because how chill he is and his overall design is adorable.
I also like Blathers; I love history and also hate bugs probably just as much or more than him
. I do think he is so cute when I give him a bug and he freaks out even though I would too.
Saharah is another favorite; I do wish her eyes looked differently but aside from that I find her adorable and love the bag of carpets she carries

I always get excited when Flick is there I can sell all my bugs I’ve been hoarding and I love the butterfly models. The runner ups would be Redd for the art and statues and CJ for the same reasons as Flick, but I just prefer Flick for the models.
I voted for Celeste as I always enjoy seeing her on my island and collecting her DIYs, especially all the zodiac ones, and Pascal as I think otters are really cute and I like his chill personality and words of wisdom, he's the only reason I still go diving in the game so that I can see him.

I picked Flick (because I love his passion for bugs and he's super cute), Wisp (because I love all things ghostly, and he reminds me of Boos, which I LOVE), and... well, Celeste. She's always been cute, but this game has turned the cuteness factor up 1000% percent. Her expression when she is watching stars is PRECIOUS

celeste will always be the best in my eyes! she’s genuinely such a sweetheart and i love her design a lot! seeing how happy her brother and astrology makes her really warms my heart. i even have an area dedicated to her on my island and am working on a room inspired by her and her observatory in previous games as well. 
i also adore pascal, kicks, rover and blathers, but celeste will always be my #1. ^^
