I do, but rarely. I haven't found a reason to ever since I paid off my entire loan several months back.

yes! I only when I need to have a huge sum of bells because it's so boring and tedious. I prefer the stalk market and that's where I earn most of my bells (●?ω｀●).

...the only reason I ever bother with stags (or any bugs in general) is to add to my museum collection.
For the past year or so I stopped doing that, if it's incomplete then so be it.
See, most of the time, I found my Mayor backing away slowly instead of approaching said stag
BECAUSE THOSE STAG BEETLES THEY ARE LIKE GIANT FLYING COCKROACHES I SWEAR THAT AWFUL BUZZING SOUNDS THEY MADE WHEN THEY TOOK OFF
I try to avoid the island despite I love fishing: for some odd reason, those stags are always there ; __ ;
It feels much better now that I get this off my chest.
Never too keen on mentioning this, as it seems like everyone is fine with stags.
As for making some neat IGB....well, with the amount of time involved in catching bugs / selling turnips,
I eventually did a few trades and hmmm, converted some BTB to igb. Couldn't be happier. ^^

I say it's still worth it. The majority of my money comes from island farming. It can get a bit tedious but at least you can do it at your own pace and you can just watch tv or lie in bed while doing it. You don't need to turn on your wifi, add people's fcs and set up a time that works for others like you do with trades.

However, if I have a lazy camper I sometimes go out and do it because they can play a game with you that can up to quadruple your profit.

Oh my gosh yes this. I always turned off the volume when stag hunting because the sound they made when scaring them away scared me half to death.

You could just chop all the trees down so you can fish in peace.
If you ever want to grow them back you can just get fruit from tours.
However, if I have a lazy camper I sometimes go out and do it because they can play a game with you that can up to quadruple your profit.

I still do it for money sometimes. I have millions of bells, but its really nice just watching TV and catching those things. I really like the night-time island music too maybe thats why ^_^
