Who are the best (and worst) frog villagers and why? 🐸

When i was making this thread, i found out that i actually like most of the frogs. This will be hard...

BEST: Puddles and Wart Jr.. Puddles is a cute pink peppy frog and i love her. I would take her any day! Wart Jr may look....unappealing to others, but his personality fits him really well. Crankies are my least favorite personality type, but it matches Wart Jr cause he is like an old sage frog.
HONORABLE MENTIONS: Diva and Camofrog. Diva was one of my starter villagers and i didnt let her leave for a long time. Camofrog's design is so cool (camo pattern is awesome), but i wish he was jock....

WORST: (this was hard, theyre all cool) Jambette and Croque. Jambette should have been snooty, and i just dont like Croque's design...

It's a tie between Puddles and Prince for me. They have really cute, unique designs and I hope to have both on my island one day. I have had Puddles since the early days of my island. That being said, I love all of the frogs and would not object to any of them being on my island.

Well, I was going to vote for Frobert but he ain't there lol.
I voted for Wart Jr.
Frobert and Wart Jr. are the two I have the most interest in.
Others I wouldn't mind meeting are Henry, Ribbot, drift and cousteau.
I have only ran into Jambette and Raddle and I didn't like either.
Worst, Puddles. Idk what is going on with her face there. A pink mud mask?? There are other frogs that also look weird and even creepy but I feel like those can pass since they are frog villagers. Puddles, not so much..

I like most of the frogs and don’t really dislike any of them. My faves are Cousteau and Lily and Drift and Henry.

Lily is my favourite frog, she looks sweet, her colours are really pretty and I like her house interior (and exterior). Henry is another good frog villager and despite not usually liking the jocks very much I think Tad is also one of the better frogs. I quite like Jeremiah too for his blue colouring and nice pattern but I prefer the other three.

Jambette is probably my least favourite just for the big lips, she isn't awful but I just can't get used to them, same goes for Gigi who also has pretty odd lips which still seem to always manage to stand out to me despite been smaller.

HOWEVER the best frog is my beautiful son, frobert
i love frobert so much, he is the best and cutest frog villager but was sadly not on the list so i couldn't vote for him

the worst is diva, i hate diva so much! she's in my NL town and i can't get her to move because all my other villagers keep moving -_-

My favorite Frog, and one of my favorite villagers in general, is Ribbot. I love all three robot villagers (and I would like, eventually, for each species to have a robot villager, though that will likely never be the case), and Ribbot has the best design of the three in my opinion. He was a resident of one of my New Leaf towns for years, but then I decided to move him on up to New Horizons and he's a permanent resident.

Frogs are a really good species, and I have a bunch of others I really like. Camofrog, Diva, Drift, Gigi, Jambette, and Raddle are all great. I also appreciate what they were going for with Croque, though he's admittedly not really my thing.

My least favorite Frog is Wart Jr. just due to past experiences of him following me from town to town in New Leaf, though I do appreciate his design as well.

This was an easy one for me. Lily is my favourite animal as I think she is really cute with her design and the way she wanders around my island - I love her.

Extremely sad that my boy Jeremiah only has one vote... Mine! He's got such a cute design, so chill and relaxed but bright blue and poisonous! Haha.

For real though, frogs are my favorite AC animal type so I could choose any of them, except for maybe Diva. I'm not big on Jambette, but she's so funky I would let her stick around for a bit if I got her. If I HAD to choose favorites, then it'd be Jeremiah, Lily (who I didn't vote for just because I had a feeling she'd have the most votes and I wanted to give my other favs a boost), Henry, and Raddle! I'm surprised Tad has 0 votes too, he's such a cutie too! Though maybe that's just my biased love of the frog villagers talking...

Lily and Henry are the best. Lily was an original villager in my CF town, and our houses are right next to each other. I haven’t played that game in about a year, but now I’m scared to check it in case Lily moved away. I haven’t had Henry yet, but I’m hoping to find him for my island someday.

Lily and Jeremiah are the best to me. Lily is so sweet and she is so cute, so I definitely see the hype around her. Jeremiah is underrated to me. I love his color, his chubby cheeks, and how adorable he is. He's so sweet and playful.

I really want to like frogs, but have not found one that clicks for me into true favorite. Drift is cute, I love his color scheme, unfortunately when he came to my campsite I already had 2 jock villagers. I think croque is adorable, because I love that he looks like a daruma. Wart jr seems cool, like an old hermit who lives in the mountains. He is also my birthday twin, so I have to represent for him.

one day I really want to like a frog villager. I would love to be surprised by who I end up liking

Gigi and Jambette are a little much for me, but I kind of love how out there they are. The one for me that is a hard no is Puddles. The color blocking on her creates and unsettling effect for me.

Last note- is it just me or do the mouths of the frogs look more drawn on and 2 dimensional than other villagers?

ribbot is super cool! i like that he uses the umbrella in the rain haha
i also really love diva!! and also jambette. actually jambette is SUPER CUTE and tbh i really want her in my town! i think she has a super unique yet still appealing design. jambette and gigi are cool, but out of all the frogs i definitely love jambette the most. puddles is also cute.

wart jr is the worst though. he looks like a super smug kid in middle school that i knew and i just cant look at wart jr without being reminded of him gf;hklkn

I like Raddle. I’ve had him in my town since the start of the game and I have no intention of ever getting rid of him.

I also like Ribbot. I tried him in my town for a while, but for some reason, he chooses to wear goofy eyeglasses. It takes away from his overall look. Raddle doesn’t seem to have this happen, so it was a big factor on who I was keeping

Jambette is the best frog villager imo. She’s super cute. I also really love Tad and Huck. I’m still salty they changed Huck’s personality tho. Really I like all the frogs. They all have good designs,

Raddle is my buddy. I'm a scientist so have a soft spot for his design! He also moved to my island on my birthday last year which just increases the attachment.

though cousteau has always been my fav frog, croque has always been up there with him, i don’t know what it is about them but i love them ahh

Best: Lily, Raddle, Ribbot, Drift

Lily is going to crush this poll and for good reason. Her design is cute and not too over-designed.

Raddle is cool for a horror town. My headcanon says he's poisonous so thats why he wears a mask.

Ribbot is a robot. Thats cool in of itself.

Drift has always been a fav of mine and I like his design.

Worst: Croquet

Henry is the best frog boy, I love him to bits. I think he's so cute and tiny and I love him in my New Leaf town! I think the frogs as a whole are pretty cute, though I am partial to small villagers. I think a lot of tiny villagers are cute (save for mice and hamsters... I feel like they had a trickier time with their designs? Although Flurry is super cute). I do also have a soft spot for Frobert, even though I don't love the jock personality I think he's really cute. I had him in my New Leaf town for a while and his house was close to Henry's, it was really so fun seeing them walk around especially walking through the flowers.

In general I like a lot of the frog designs but there are a few exceptions. I don't super love how Puddles looks? I think it's how they chose to colour her face, I'm not a fan of it. In theory a pink frog is super cute! I just wish they'd stuck to one shade, though. Prince also has something about him I just don't love. D:

Gigi, Jambette, and Diva I also don't enjoy, following the trend of me just not liking when they add makeup to villagers. Giving them little rosy cheeks is one thing, but lipstick and eyemakeup? Throws me off.
