Whitney's plot is not appearing?

I've heard very varying stories about how many days it takes for a villager from another town to show up. Pretty sure all those stories has a happy end, though! This might sound silly, but are you absolutely sure she hasn't put down a plot yet somewhere? Sometimes they just... Hide well.

Asking a villager to move in automatically voids any streetpass or online villagers to appear wether in campsite or from a new town. As for Whitney's plot appearing, I think it won't. Sometimes this happens, where the villager moves out of the original town but not into the new town. It also happens that even though the new villager didn't move in, the game counts it as if it did so the player would have to cycle the 16 villagers in order to be able to obtain that villager again even though they never moved in in the first place. However keep trying, she might just pop up if ur game is just late.

Usually when a villagers plot is in my town,their name will appear on my villager list. Whitney isnt in it.

Really? You mean the villager list next to your town map, right? Because I'm almost a 100% sure their name doesn't show up when it's just their plot. That's what I remember from plot resetting. I think their name shows up on the list when they're unboxing.

Edit: based on what you just said, have you tried looking around your town yet?

Its been 7 days or more since I asked whitney to move(Time traveled) and still no plot. I checked around town. She is still not there.. Is there a chance i will get her from the void if I go to the guy who sold me whitney? I guess the only thing to do left is TT back to original date -sigh- i waites a whole week to get her :c

I have no idea if that would still work at this point, but it might be worth a try. Sorry I couldn't be of further help!
