I picked the first one but I think 1-3 are all really great. I liked the fourth one but if anything I wish it would've been more like a spin-off that didn't really involve Woody and the other main characters since I thought the third movie was such a good ending for them.

Definitely the second for me! The comedy is by far the best, and them taking the story to so many different settings made the world feel so much larger (and the toys so much smaller.) I also really enjoyed Toy Story 4, however it didn't feel like a Toy Story movie since it didn't hit the usual beats. I heard someone say that titling it "Woody" rather than "Toy Story 4" would have fit far greater and I entirely agree (and often think of the movie in those terms.)

The Brave Little Toaster.

I agree here. No Pixar movie is better than a movie about five inanimate objects that went to look for their master.

What’s interesting here is that the elements in all Toy Story movies were present in The Brave Little Toaster. See Sid’s creepy room and Al? See the dump sequence in the third movie? It all came from one movie.

I haven't seen Toy Story 4 so I'm only comparing the 3. I loved 2 the most. I found it more funny for whatever reason.

I think I like the 2nd one best. But I like how Woody got his happy ending in the 4th one, I just hated how he was treated the entire movie! Bonnie does not deserve those toys! Worst decision Andy ever made in his life!

i really enjoyed the third one since it was the only one i saw in theaters as a kid, so nostalgia for that day really does it for me. i think i was only barely born for Toy Story 2 so I saw the first two at home with our vhs player

i think 3 was a really good conclusion to the arc of the characters and Andy. Like they’re played with a lot when he’s a kid and then they’re basically ignored when he’s a teenager (which i ended up doing when i got to that age despite me saying to myself i wouldn’t). i think lotso is pretty sympathetic and still made me feel about his past despite him ending up essentially a dictator

i actually really liked 4... i didn’t realize so many people didn’t... But think it’s because it’s not so much a toy story as it is a Woody story. the character arcs of the whole cast was pretty much completed in the third movie, so they didn’t really grow except for woody. but i think the movie was really funny and seeing the end of a beloved character was really tear jerking. i can understand the issues the fourth movie brings to the story as a whole and weakens the 3rd movie, but i still really liked it

also isn’t it interesting that the gaps between the 2 and 3, and 3 and 4 are so large that they were released at different stages in life if you grew up with them as a kid? like seeing the 4th movie as a young adult was nuts lol

I liked Toy Story 2. It may be because I watched it a lot of times as a kid, but I personally find the story in that movie more impactful than the first one in my opinion. I do like the other ones though.

I never understand how people remember the differences between these (or movies in general) and what made them good/bad! I think I've seen 1-3... I've a feeling 2 might have been the best, but I don't even know what exactly was the plot of it!!

Controversial: NONE of them, but Toy Story 1 and 2 will always have a special place in my heart no matter what.

After rewatching the whole franchise as an adult, I have to say I do not like the characters or their reasoning for their actions .-.

It's Toy Story 2.It had the best story,Newman from Seinfeld in animated form and that tearjerker of a scene when Jessie the cowgirl explains why she doesn't want to run away with Woody.

Definitely understand where you’re coming from. Sometimes looking back at kids movies as adults puts the film in a whole new perspective. An example for me is probably Beauty and the Beast, thats a movie with some... questionable motives

Going to go with Toy Story 2. Toy Story 1 was really good, but honestly Sid is still kind of creepy for me. Toy Story 3 wasn't very good at all, the only good parts were with Ken lol. Toy Story 4 was just ok, and didn't have the same feel because of their new owner.

Toy Story 2 is the one I've watched the most to be honest, I just find it more enjoyable than the other Toy Story movies. It's also kind of funny because the villain (i guess? he did separate Woody from the other toys) looks like one of my old teachers.

I enjoyed Toy Story 2 the best, but I haven't seen the 4th one yet to be fair.

LOVED that film. I was so scared of the Air Conditioner as a kid though 😅😅

Toy Story 2.

That scene with Woody and the Toy Cleaner? *chef's kiss*
Yeah, a little over the top. It did set the tone for the rest of the messed up movie.

There are also parallels to the Raggedy Ann movie and an early Jim Henson movie.

The best part about this poll is that nobody has voted for the forbidden fifth option
