Which soundtrack do you prefer?

I LOVE the 4am music so much, I always tried to update my dream at either 4am or 7pm, which I think is my absolute favorite.

YESSSSSSS it’s great! There’s just something about that music playing while all your villagers are asleep in the middle of the night. You’re all alone in your town, but at the same time, it’s so peaceful.

City Folk/Wild World hourly music to me gave a perfect Animal Crossing vibe. The tracks were cozy, not over bearing, and gave me the feeling that I really was in a little forest town with a bunch of animals.

This being said, I feel like each game's music fits it. I saw a video of somebody who modded NH and put the WW/CF hourly music in it's place...and it just didn't work.

NL will forever be "that" iconic soundtrack to me. I found a copy of wild world in my drawers so there's some room to replace NL as my all time favorite AC soundtrack, but I think NL will still be my favorite.

i think that in comparison to the previous animal crossing games soundtrack of the new horizons sounds very bland and the only hourly music that is memorable and animal-crossing-like to me is 5am. new leaf holds a special place in my heart because it was my first animal crossing game so for obvious reasons it would be my pick for a favorite soundtrack simply due to nostalgia. altrough, i also find myself listening to the wild world sometimes and i really like it as well. so basically for me it would be new leaf > other ac games >>>>> new horizons.

I feel like Wild World is still the best soundtrack to me, it would be hard to beat it. It's also so nostalgic as well so brings back memories of still being in school and enjoying Animal Crossing.

New Leaf all the way, New Horizons music isn't bad but the night tracks in New Leaf are so peaceful and nostalgic.

For now I'm saying new leaf. I haven't spent enough time with NH to make many memories with it, and tbh the game isn't compelling enough to me that I want to. But that's another topic that there are also many threads about

I think music-wise both have some gems and "meh" tracks. NH is a lot more low-energy generally, so I enjoy more of the hourly tracks in NL than in NH.

Tho i have to say New Horizons... 8AM theme i think?? is a bop

I prefer NL definitely, maybe it's nostalgia but the NL soundtrack is just way more relaxing and charming to me.

My favourite is City Folk's
Because my favourite is Wild World's, and City Folk is the same thing in higher quality
Also the animal crossing movie's soundtrack, the wild world music sounds amazing there too

BUt...
I also love new leaf because it has some really beautiful atmospheric tracks
andddd I also love the original because it's sooooo unique and quirky and 00s and fun
lowkey sounds a bit like 00s radiohead in places xD, didn't notice it before but I played the first song on amnesiac while playing the original and it fit perfectly lol
