Which soundtrack do you prefer?

Nothing will ever beat the original GameCube soundtrack for me. I got sick of WIld World's music after CIty Folk, New Leaf's was nice but a little bland, and New Horizons is my second favourite, especially 12pm, 3pm and 5pm.

When I look back, NL's track was just okay for me. I really love Wild World's the best.
New Horizon's is the weakest link for me.

It’s okay . They all get buried so quickly. There are a lot of duplicate threads about everything pretty much anyways. I don’t usually mind, though I have trouble keeping track where I posted what or what I posted in each one. lol

I don’t remember the NL soundtrack since I took a long hiatus before getting NH. NH’s is alright - nothing special to me. I don’t like the 2 pm and 3 AM songs though.

My first Animal Crossing game was New Leaf, so the soundtrack holds a lot of nostalgia for me. It's so relaxing to listen to and I'll sometimes get a little teary if I hear it unexpectedly. I have no problems with the New Horizons soundtrack, but the New Leaf one holds a special place in my heart.

I prefer the NL one for sure since it has more variety! I like the NH one but some of them just sound really similar to each other. But 5am in NH is sooo good

The original is still the best. 1pm (cat hour) is still my favorite to this day. I wish they bring back the same style. Maybe they can use dog barks/growls next time.

New Leaf, I literally mute NH because I find it so bland and listen to youtube or something. The only song I like (and actually get to listen to realistically during gameplay), is the 2am theme.

I loved New Leaf's soundtrack. I felt like there was more variety in the hourly music in terms of mood. I find the New Horizons soundtrack to be a bit bland.

NL by a mile. i don't think there's one hourly song in NL i don't like, whereas for NH there's some cute songs but i feel like more of them sound the same? could just be me.

It's like, the best one to me. Every hourly theme has charm and are extremely memorable from the top of my head, my top faves being 4am, 8am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm.

NL has some classics, too, such as 1am, 2am, 7am, 8am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 5pm, 7pm and 10pm.

The only ones I genuinely like from NH are 7am, 8am, 9am, 11am and 12pm.

acckkk sometimes i get teary when i listen to BOTW soundtrack or sf even tho it's a "young" game but I just love it so much haha

im a big fan of the nl ost. i prefer the relaxing and dreamy vibes that the nl ost had over nh. though i think nh's ost is just fine and it fits the game's theme (island life) perfectly, it's just not for me personally!

New Leaf, New Leaf, New Leaf. I love NH, but I LOVE the variety that NL had. And can we all admit, that the 4 AM music was definitely one of the most unsettling but oddly serene tracks in the whole series? It's basically saying "why are you awake...? i'm serious kid, go back to bed."

It’s funny cuz even though CF was my first AC game I have a LOT more nostalgia for NL’s soundtrack. 8 AM in particular gets to me as a combination of the trailers for NL and the fact that I did my morning stuff at that time meant that that song was the most prominent in my mind.
