We used to use Comrade KK with Halloween (the ole spooky furniture) in older versions of the game. It was less spooky, more fun. I dont have it in new horizons yet, so i dont know if it sounds quite the same as it used to.
KK Dirge and Hypno KK are the best in my opinion. I sort of have a Japanese inspired town so King KK plays a lot, but I think it can be creepy. I also think KK Milonga is a good Halloween song as well
KK Dirge and Hypno KK are the most outright creepy and unsettling.
However, I think both King KK and KK Folk also give off very unsettling vibes. I can see them being used in rooms/areas with Japanese horror elements or something like that.
KK Sonata, as well, is calm but can also be potentially used in a very creepy manner.
Ok hear me out: that song combined with spookiness is actually terrifying. Because it’s so happy that it’s kinda creepy when used in a spooky setting!
The classic approach would be KK dirge for sure!
I find that KK Synth and Hypno KK suit the vibe of my island really well for Halloween! I also agree with the poster who said Bubblegum KK fits. I find Chrissy and Francine a little creepy and I associate the song with them so it works haha
My go-to is KK Dirge, but "To the Edge" has a cursed video game music vibe to me.
My bro thinks KK Chorale is spooky funeral music and sometimes gets scared when it sounds
like the record is about to break.
I also wanna throw out K.K. Waltz. It's in a minor key and could be useful in a more fun halloween area. K.K. Dirge is typical, but it's so slow and creepy that I don't think it works for any fall area, just the creepy ones.
