Oh, this is fun. It's interesting to see the cats taking the lead for now. I personally adore rabbits, living with two rabbits in real life and all.

This is hard because I really like a lot of the species. I voted Eagle because they're my favorite if I had to just pick one but I really really love the monkeys (not gorillas), wolves, and rabbits. Deer too of course.

Deer by far.
I like just about all of them and deer population in my town is currently a little over half the entire village.​

Squirrels. I love almost all of them and I would maybe like to one day have a town with all squirrels. But that'll probably never happen.

Bears are my favorite animals, so it was a toss-up between bears and cubs when it comes to my favorite Animal Crossing species. I went with bears, because I love how huge they are compared to the humans and all the other animal species! And there are so many bear villagers I love, especially Grizzly and Teddy.

Honorable mention goes to anteaters. Olaf, Cyrano, Antonio and Annalisa are all favorites of mine. The anteater villagers are awesome, and anteaters are amazing creatures in real life as well.

I like a bunch of them, but Wolf is my favourite as they're my favourite animals irl too. It saddens me that I still don't have a Wolf living in my town. :c
Second would be a tie between Squirrels, Deers, and Rabbits.
