Minecraft was my favorite game in the 2000s and stayed that for most of the 2010s as well. I liked the endless possibilities. My favorite thing to do was to play on servers though, especially RL and RPG servers.

Other than that I played:
- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Mario 64
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Animal Crossing: Wild World and City Folk
- Super Mario Bros. DS and Wii
- Wii Party
- Wii Sports Resort
- Mario Party 9
- Mario Kart DS and Wii
- F1 2012

Of course I played more games, but these are the ones I played most often.

i was personally more into online games than console ones, but i definitely played plenty of both! i don’t remember every single game that i played, whether it be online or console, but the ones that i do remember (and some of my faves!) are:

moshi monsters (i’m honestly so sad that it’s gone)
webkinz
moviestarplanet
bin weevils
girls go games (does this count? lol)
habbo hotel
animal crossing: wild world and animal crossing: new leaf
style savvy and style savvy: trendsetters
papa’s freezeria
subway surfers
mysims party
dreamer: puppy trainer
princess deput
best friends tonight
pony friends 2
mysims kingdom
fashion week jr.: designer
harvest moon: island of happiness
imagine: teacher

i had to look at my 3DS’ activity logs to remember a lot of these. 😭

girls go games (does this count? lol)
GirlsGoGames does count! I played that a lot as well. When it comes to online games, I also loved Club Penguin. c:

And Pony Friends 2 was so fun! I already forgot about that, lol.

moshi monsters (i’m honestly so sad that it’s gone)
moshi monsters 😭 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

sad about that one also :( it was so much fun and i loved seeing how everyone decorated.

i played a lot of mobile games 🥴
  • restaurant story
  • bakery story
  • subway surfers
  • temple run
  • mastermind
  • moshi monsters
  • habbo
  • a whole bunch of zynga games on faceb**k
  • team fortress 2
  • left 4 dead 2
  • beat hazard
  • super mario galaxy
  • minecraft
  • animal crossing nl/ww
that's just a quick list off the top of my head. i'm sure i played others, these are just the standouts.

This is going to be a long list but here it is:

1. GTA Liberty City Stories
2. GTA San Andreas
3. GTA Vice City
4. GTA Vice City Stories
5. GTA 4
6. GTA 5
7. Kingdom Hearts
8. Kingdom Hearts 2
9. Super Mario Sunshine (still my least favorite)
10. Pokemon Pearl
11. Pokemon Platinum
12. Pokemon Black

2000s:

- Rollercoaster Tycoon
- Sims 1 & 2
- that PPG snowboarding game
- GTA Vice City (mainly just drove around hitting pedestrians and flew around in the helicopter)
- Various Pokémon games
- Halo (again, just to drive around)
- Katamari Damacy
- Super Smash Bros.. I think the first two games of that series
- Whyville
- Neopets
- GaiaOnline

Early 2010s:

- World of Warcraft
- Minecraft
- Starcraft
- Fallout 3
- CubeWorld.. RIP
- Eve Online
- Pokemon X/Y
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf of course
- mobile games like Flappy Bird, Tiny Tower, Cube Runner etc.

I’ve played:

• Animal Crossing New Leaf / Wild World
• Pokémon Soul Silver
• Pokémon Emerald
(I may or may not have used an action replay device to obtain a Totodile)
• NCAA Football 14
• The NHL games that released their respective year.
• Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 8

There are various games that I played around that time, but I can't remember every single one of them, so here's a brief list of some of the ones that I do remember (and liked best). Listed in no particular order:

Super Mario Kart: Double Dash (For me, racing games have a tendency of getting boring fast, but this one actually has a lot of replay value)
Super Mario Sunshine
Resident Evil 4
(One of the greatest games of all-time period)
Resident Evil Zero
Resident Evil 2
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Scarface: The World Is Yours
(It's similar to the two aforementioned GTA games, but with sharper graphics. The environment isn't as expansive though. A lot of the dialogue here is also pretty damn funny and vulgar XD)
WWE Wrestlemania XIX
WWE Day Of Reckoning

A computer game that I remember seeing a lot in stores around 2000 and that I wanted to play was Diablo II, but just didn't ever get the chance to do so.

During that time I played a lot of GBA, DS and Wii games. And and on my parents' PC I played a lot of Webkinz.

The ones I remember off the top of my head are:

GBA:
Pokemon Emerald
Paws and Claws Pet Resort
Catz
Dogz 2

DS:
Mario Kart DS
Animal Crossing Wild World
Zoo Tycoon
Clubhouse Games
Nintendogs
Harvest Moon DS
Pokemon SoulSilver
Pokemon Diamond
Pokemon Black
Pokemon Black 2

Wii:
Mario Kart Wii
Animal Crossing City Folk
Wii Play
Wii Sports

I've picked up several titles that released in the 2000s/early 2010s but hadn't actually played them until late 2010s into the 2020s. They are as follows:

GBA:
Pokemon FireRed
Fire Emblem (Blazing Blade)
Fire Emblem Sacred Stones

DS:
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
Pokemon Platinum

Wii:
Super Mario Galaxy
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Gamecube: (finally picked up GC controllers and memory cards to make use of my Wii's backwards compatibility)
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

In the 2000s my gaming consisted solely of computer browser games and licensed games on my plug in game system. The only ones I remember enjoying are Jumpstart, Toy Story 2, and Finding Nemo.

I didn’t get a real gaming system until 2010. I mostly played New Super Mario Bros, Pokémon Heartgold, and Super Mario 64 DS. Once I got a Wii for Christmas that year I played Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Wii Sports religiously. In 2011 I spent a ton of time on The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D and Skyward Sword. I also got into Minecraft thanks to a friend. I don’t remember much of my gaming in 2012 aside from Mario Kart 7 and Pokémon White 2.

I got my first console in 2002/2003. It was GameCube with Animal Crossing. We didn't have much in the budget for games, so I didn't get to play as many as others.

In the 2000s, these are the games I remember playing a lot:

PopCap Games (Chuzzle, Alchemy, Bejeweled, etc.) on PC
Animal Crossing (GameCube, then later, Wild World)
Super Mario Sunshine
The Sims (and later Sims 2, Sims 2: Pets, and Sims/Sims 2 PC)
SSX Tricky (then later SSX 3, On Tour)
Namco Museum
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix
Trauma Center: Under the Knife (then Under the Knife 2)

In the 2010s:
The Sims 3 (then later Sims 4)
Trauma Team
Trauma Center: New Blood
Animal Crossing: City Folk (then New Leaf)
Phoenix Wright series
Professor Layton series
Pokémon (X/Y, Black/White)

I wasn't allowed to own video games until around 2005. My first game was Pokemon FireRed and I tended to play Pokemon releases during that time, with an occasional foray into Kirby and a ton of DDR (which my parents more easily allowed because I told them it was for exercise).
