So as far as I know, there are three camera angles and only two can be used while moving. Of the two, which one do you find yourself using most? I use both now and then but I definitely prefer to have the angle at the highest so that it's looking more down on my character.

What about you?

I use them all. Depends on what I'm doing.

The one that is more of a bird's eye view, I use to see if there are any fossils or items between trees and stuff. The other one that is more of a default view, I use to see if there are bugs on trees in the distance, balloons coming by, etc. And the one that you can only use when standing still is even more useful for seeing really far into the distance. So...yeah, I use all of the angles, and I don't really have a "default"...I just leave it on whatever I used last, and I don't really bother changing it until I have a reason to.

I like using the highest one as well! I feel like I'm just able to see more clearly than when I'm using the middle one. Although I do still switch between the two a decent amount, and like to use both angles to see if something looks good when I'm building/decorating an area.

Well I definitely have moments where I need to use all of them, but I find that I always change it back to the top down angle even when I'm not thinking about it. I can't stand playing on the "default" angle for too long.

I'll flip in and out between the middle one and the top-down view. I like the top-down one for when I'm harvesting my orchard and for fishing. Middle one for bug catching, wandering around my island, doing whatever.

The lower view I use for wishing on stars (bc you have to to do so, lol) and to get pictures/videos of my villagers doing stuff

I have a spot on my island that is a bit harder to see and appreciate unless it's on the highest angle. Do you have anything like that?

Oh yeah, I forgot that you need to have the lowest view to wish on stars. I keep thinking it's only good for seeing things behind trees. Speaking of stars, wishing on stars is nearly impossible with joycon drift.

Yeah my orchard looks much better using the top down camera because you can see all the trees line up that way, and the same with my gym. Although with my gym it's because I built it all while using the top down camera, and when I looked at it with the middle one I realised that I couldn't see the path going to it because it's behind a cliff :x

Top view. Sometimes I just can't see behind trees, or I want to get a better look at the fish lure when I'm fishing.

That's what I did when I built my bamboo area! Usually I check to see how things look as I'm building but for my bamboo stuff, I completely forgot to do that and when I changed the angle, I thought "dang, I can barely see anything." I didn't bother changing it since I can still see on the angle that I prefer, but I definitely wonder how the area might be received by others.

i use them all depending on the type of picture i’m trying to take - if i’m trying to show an area on my island, i’ll use the highest angle possible but if i want the focus to be solely on my island rep, i’ll use the lowest angle ;v;

I have it at the medium closer one. I do pan out a lot when I'm doing certain things like looking for fossils or bug hunting lol.

The regular facing one for everyday things. Placing paths I'll move it from that view to the birds eye.

All of them.

Aerial when I want to see what's in the river behind villagers houses.

I don't know why we can't change angles in the museum.
We've always been able to.
