Where should I put the Police Station and The Roost in my town?

I don't have idea where should I put both buildings, and since they can't be removed I have to choose carefully. This is my town map:

Nice map!

If it were me I'd probably either put them below Town Plaza kind of in the corners of that rectangle or maybe up the left side of the map to make your buildings more symmetrical. Although I think I'd personally want villagers up the left side so I'd probably go with option #1.

Just my opinion though, good luck with whatever you choose!

I would say for the police station, maybe to the right of the train station?
I like when towns put it there, almost like its near the entrance to the town

for the roost, possibly to the left of retail? (If that villager house isn't staying there) so you have all your buildings close to one another

Originally I was going to put The Roost to the right of the train station, but for some reason it started to bother me.

And I think that Isabelle don't let me put any big building below of the Town Plaza :/

Ugh I hate how nothing can go close to the plaza. In that case I'd probably agree about the police station to the right of the train station, but I don't know about the cafe.

Maybe the roost can go bottom left? You know near the corner.

Cool I like the map that you have for your town! If I were you. I would put the police station and the cafe in the middle part of the map above the town plaza. They could go on either side of the train station. The only problem is that you will have to get that one villager to move from the top left corner by the train station. I think that would look very nice. All the major shops and buildings could go in the middle portion of the map and the villager residential area could go in the Bottom half of the screen where the river divides the town.

Love the map. I love having the buildings close together, so I would definitely put the roost somewhere around the town hall/ retail, and police station near the main street or also near retail as well. My town is set up so that everything is near the main street so it's' like a heavily populated area

Wow, nice map! It's making me want to reset my town for this asymmetrical clean looking map!

I'd say the cafe should go on the edge of the cliff just below the gyroid sign. Not too close to the edge so you can still put bushes and a path there, but near the edge so it can be a cute clifftop cafe.

The police station should go on the right hand side of the river right in the corner so the river is behind and to the left of it. A riverside police station would be so cute!
