Where do you keep your extra DIY?

i'm currently leaving them in my beach. i'll try selling them once the villager glitch fixes, but for now they're staying out of my way

Right now, just on the floor in my house. Once I finish a bit of terraforming, I'm planning on having a dedicated 'park'-like area with log tables to hold them on for no reason.

I used to keep a few of them in a mini festive area on some stands, but I eventually moved them into my basement.

Nope, you can't store uprooted plants either (ie. flowers and trees).

i made a little market area with stalls and such where i keep my diys for friends who come and visit to look through

empty rooms in my house. all over the beach. all over the island, actually. what is life. what is storage. we aren't save from the spare DIYs.

i havent come across any repeats worth keeping/trading so i just yeet them off with the nooks while im selling bugs and such. Once i do find some i'll probably just slap them in my back room where Ive been keeping my turnips. i seriously dont get why we cant store them when we're meant to keep them and trade with other players ;;

I was keeping them on the beach before bringing them to my boyfriend's town who's still in the beginning stages of the game. Why we can't store them is beyond me. Villagers who give you a repeat DIY even say "meh, give them to a friend then", like sure thanks can I store them in the meantime?

I normally sell them because it's usually DIYs that everyone has such as the stone chair or birdhouse.

I just leave them on my beach close to the airport... Idk where else to put them.
