Where do people store their extra DIYs?

I just put them down in front of my plaza I haven't done much to my island so right now I don't care to much about the rating.

I put them outside, and then just ask friends if they want any. Afterwards I just sell a bunch of them to Timmy and Tommy.

I have been tossing them into my basement with the intention of seeing if anyone wants to buy them, but I never get around to it. They're really starting to pile up though, so my hand might be forced soon.

I put them outside my airport so my friends can pick them up when they visit. I have way more stuff on the ground anyway so even without the DIY, I wouldn't have the 5 star rating. Soon I'll pick everything up. Once my second character house is fully upgraded!

I have them a lot in my house right now. I leave the non valuable ones outside for free so they don’t take up so much space

Unless it's something I know it could be useful to sell online , I just sell them on Nook's Cranny.

You know what, I should just start doing this. I have quite a few DIYs people don't even want for free. I'm sure I'll end up with them AGAIN at some point. :d Might as well make some bells. Not sure why this thought never crossed my mind until reading your post haha. I didn't even register this as an option until now.

i've put them all in my living room as it has more space to drop things than in my basement lol. i don't wanna sacrifice my town rating as i'm trying to get more lily of the valleys to decorate an area of my town so i have to keep things indoors.

could never understand why we're literally advised to keep them to share to our friends, when we can't even store?

I sell them to Nooks unless it's something valuable or sought after (my villagers keep giving me the garden wagon, lily record player and zen-style stone lol), for which I set up a trading thread when my basement starts getting full. I literally upgraded my house to have a basement just so I could store DIYs lmao

Basement, but they're driving me mad so I think I'll do a giveaway soon just to get shot of them. I used to just toss them in the trash until I realised some folks might want them.

I give them away if I can't trade them. They're dropped in front of my airport and I push them on everyone who visits lmao. That's why you can't store them, the idea is to share with others.

I usually just trash them to be honest, unless it's an interesting one, then I just gift them to random people on my friends list.

I used to store them in my basement but, recently, I've just been selling them at Nook's Cranny.
I hosted many giveaways for them but most of the common ones don't usually end up being taken and I wanted to decorate my basement a certain way. Now, I only ever store the rare ones - the rest are just sold right away.

I keep mine in the upstairs room for now, until I have enough furniture to decorate it properly.
