I think it will be late September at the earliest, but it could be mid-October. It depends on how long they set up the Halloween event to last. The Bunny Day event was 2 weeks, so if Halloween is the same length of time, then we'll probably get it around October 16.

That being said, Jack is welcome to hang around as long as he wants.

Since the the last trailer said the next update would be "fall" and not "September", I think it will be late September or possibly even October before we know. I think the back-to-back month of updates we got in July and August will probably not be a regular thing, unfortunately.

Kind of like the rose petal season but instead of rose petals, maybe falling leaves.

Anyway, I agree- Jack can NEVER come too early and can NEVER give too many DIYs

Most likely the last week of September. Seems they try and keep the seasonal updates as close to the actual new season start dates as possible. So first week of October at the latest if anything.

Jack is the only Holiday NPC that matters (to me), and would welcome a celebration that extends throughout the whole season. Hope we get an update mid-September and not have to wait till early October.

IDK if y’all know this but late November will have maple leaves falling in the same manner as the cherry petals!

I’m hoping for late September, but I’d be ok with early October as long as the event isn’t time-limited. I’ll be busy the first of that month. :/

also seconding what everyone else is saying: Jack can’t come soon enough! I hope his furniture is a tasteful gothic style—maybe something akin to the rococo series!
