When you were new to the internet...

Hahah, ohhh this topic is bringing back memories.....

1.I thought FTW meant Fight the walrus...

2.When I first started using the computer, my biggest issue was not closing the previous page and having to search for where the noise on that page was coming from LOL!.

Thank you sir, for making my day.

I don't really remember my first days on the internet.

I remember not knowing what FTW was. And how much i typed in 1337.

The main thing I remember, was that I had terrible grammar. I was one of those people that would type leik this a lot and i wud use u instead of you. That was towards my early nsider days.

They didn't have terrible grammar, they just spoke a different language/dialect.

That's all.

Um...Let's see here,I used to think BRB meant "burp" for short and when I was like 4 when I couldn't read,I used to see people type so fast and when I try to type as fast that time I didn't know how to read so I typed random letters quickly and stuff like this showed up:
"hjdkbdisnfishdisbfrawofhduw".

My fist days of the internet was using Google. I also typed like this," LoL FATS PUNNY and WUD U SAY!?!??!!?!?!?!??!!?!?!??!" I was also a jackass. I also thought FTW meant Fu<k the world. I was quite a noob and sometimes are.

I remember when I was playing runescape, everyone kept talking about "Ty." It took me about an hour to figure out "Ty" meant thank you.

Oh, I also remember the first time I used ichat I had horrible grammar like Bacon Boy mentioned, until my brother told me that people only type like that because they try to look cool, and that it isn't cool. I don't type like that anymore, only on rare occasions when I'm lazy as hell.

Sometimes, I just feel sad that I used to be that horrible monster.
That horrible noob monster.
Now that I've gone through my horrid experience, I try to help people or prevent nasty things like that.

My mission is working, 12 year olds who think texting makes you cool are my worst enemy so far, converted pretty much all my friends and people I don't hate.

Lol, I sound like I'm religious.

No, I don't think texting is bad. I text all the time, I just got an unlimited plan because I went over my plan by 700 texts. And it's good to guide people, but if they don't want your advice and want to stay that way, you just gotta let them be. I personally looked up to my brother and took his advice, but others may not want that advice.

I kind of started around at the age of 7 with Neopets, that was a long two years. I later found Runescape and Habbo after Neopets, I was so nooby. I'd try to "hack" people by asking for their passwords to have unlimited money or gold or whatever. I was horrible, and typed like a five year old. But I guess that's all behind me.

May the gods of the internet bless him.
Of course I let them be, they just continue to be enemies.

But you'll make enemies and friends during your life, so yeah.
