When you were a noob...

I spent an awfully long time trying to find a way into the tiny little room attached to nookling junction

I built whatever my villagers told me to, even if it was really ugly. I also ate all my turnips :p

Oh yeah, and on wild world I thought the bin was a closet and put all my stuff in it:p:p:p

when I was still new to acnl:
-------------------------------
- I would actually spend time to write meaningful letters to my villagers
- I would also talk to my bestie wolfgang and bother him so much all day lol
- HOARD EVERYTHING
- I didn't know you can store your stuff in the closet so I would put everything on the ground
- I had no idea where I should put the trash (took me forever to obtain a trash can) so I would dump them in some corner behind a tree
- I thought I would get a "game over" if I didn't pay my loans on time X3
- I would never say no to a villager even when I have no idea what they're talking about
- I would keep mashing the a button when trying to catch a fish
- I would change my clothes everyday for some reason
- I didn't know of this magical thing called time travelling
- I never thought I'd find someone to play the game with lol
- I was very very bad at catching bugs
- I had no idea what to do to heal my eye if it got stung by a bee
- I would only sell shells and fruit, not knowing of the island and bugs' value
- I didn't know shells re-spawn if you quit the game and come back
- I didn't know of different grass patterns/train station colors and full furniture sets...

I had a whole bunch of high tier villagers which I then moved out (flurry, the deer girl whatever her name is Idc ) and put a load of yellow benches everywhere. Fun

ACNL is my first AC game so I had quite a few noobish times!

- When I went to a villagers house and it said that they weren't home, I literally thought they left town for a few days since I didn't run into them until 3 days later.
- I ran all over my town and there were ugly dirt paths everywhere.
- I chose a really bad map with no space to do anything on the one side. (The one side was really skinny)
- On said map I put my house right below the ReTail and a few blocks from the river so I had no room to do any decorating outside of it. (The Town Hall was even on the right side just a screen over)
- I had NO idea how to stop tanning. My character was super tan all the time and I wasn't really a fan of it because I never tan myself.

I only played Population Growing prior to New Leaf so I was in for a nasty surprise with some of the newer things.

For example, I forgot villagers can replace stuff with things you gave them so a few of them have fish and bugs ruining their once nice homes. ):

I knew about the grass wear thing beforehand though. What I didn't know was that walking on an area to water flowers to regrow grass negates the growing. What an awful mechanic! I was losing grass just walking normally everywhere so I gave up trying to regrow it by watering and when someone moved I just TTed a month forward to regrow it. >:/

I also didn't know the limitations of pwp placement until I started playing because whatever I was trying to place "was too close to [whatever thing here]." Ugh.

XD So did I! I thought they could actually read what you wrote.
(They can identify key words and gibberish however)
