Here is where you can share some of the silly things you did when you were new to ACNL!

I remember eating the perfect fruit in the beginning

Oh, and I would NEVER say no to a villager, because I didn't want them to get sad or mad. Although it was just a game I still hated making them sad or mad. The first time I said no was when Bianca wanted to call me "shmoopy," and it took me like a day to finally say no xD

When I sold my perfect fruit and I didn't go to other people's towns *facepalm*.

I did the same thing with never saying no to a villager.
Now I rarely say yes, lol!

When I first played I used to put PWP everywhere in random spots. It looked so messy.
Once I started mapping my town out, I realized how much nicer and more fun it is to have spots reserved for specific projects.

I did the same thing! And I chose random PWPs too. I was just building whatever wherever trying to reach PTS. And the fact that I was to lazy to demolish and rebuild it all is one of the reasons I'm deleting Startown.

I used to leave everything out on the ground. I even made a junkyard that was reserved for trash! Well, that was before I knew that there were trash cans...
I also bought a lot of the ugly Able Sister stuff, thinking it was the best clothes I would get. But that was before I knew that there was Gracie and the QR code machine...

I did a lot of other stuff, it would take a thousand years to list them all, so yeah, that's just two of my many things I did when I was a noob. ^_^

That happened to me! LOL, I only thought you could use a basket for fruit, not bamboo. I only figured that you could use a basket for bamboo 2 months ago.

I still do that sometimes, because I have a lot of tools and sometimes it's easier to just go to the menu and select than cycle through everything.

-I ate the perfect fruit too when I was new to the game.
-I would only go to the island once a week because 1000 bells was a lot to me at the time.
-I thought my house's room looked good when in reality I had just thrown every item I owned into one cramped room.
-I sent mail to my villagers in an attempt to get foreign fruit when in reality I just needed to visit towns with different fruits...
-Someone randomly gave me a princess sofa and I displayed it proudly and I thought it was so rare and I was one of the only people who had it.

I sold my first perfect fruit because it was the premium item at retail on day one

I dug up the dang pitfall seed and sold it, day after day, not realising that if you just tuck it in an out-of-the-way spot, new ones won't spawn.

I didn't realise you could stack fruit for a long time either (and actually just saw...um...cupquake? do a youtube feature on AC:NL and you can tell she never played much, in part because her fridge is full of single peaches ).

I didn't know that if you hear a villager is moving, they won't necessarily talk to you about it directly and will just move out. The jerks.

Even though Tortimer tells you it won't count, I grabbed ALL THE FURNITURE I could carry when doing the scavenger hunt in hopes it would show up in my catalogue.

The first time I went to a dream town, I felt *really* awkward because I thought the actual player was in their actual town while I was visiting.

I ate my perfect fruit and then chopped down all of the trees or well at least most of them. Slap villagers I didn't like with the bug net not knowing they would just stay longer xD

I don't think I had too many embarrassing moments. The biggest mistake I've made was accidentally TTing a year in advance instead of a day. Oops :c

Also I used to visit dream towns and try to grab as many hybrids as I could to bring them back with me. I thought it wouldn't affect the players town but I would still get the hybrids too.
