When you complete the divingpedia will you still swim after words?

I didn't do it too often in New Leaf because I found swimming kind of boring, to be honest.

I think I'll still do it for Pascal and new creatures, and maybe for fun when I run out of other new things to do, especially since it's so easy to use a wetsuit now. You can just put them anywhere outside!

of course - i’ll likely still be interested in getting pearls so that i can craft the mermaid items and plus, i love seeing pascal 😌

I'm mostly doing it for pearls and DIY recipes at this point. When I complete my DIY collection, I'll probably be swimming alot less frequently

yes. it could take me a while to complete it anyway. haven't even completed new leaf creatures. but if they want me to keep diving when i do complete, maybe don't give me too much pearls yet so i'll have a reason to dive in the future to craft those DIYs (that i'm not even getting).

i actually used to do this in new leaf! haha. i leave it on the diving spot but it's not as aesthetic as it could be now, basically tool was just on the ground near the cliff where i could dive. for new horizons, i leave it in my pockets since there's tons of space. maybe i should have an diving area as well with the wetsuit displayed..

Only if I don't get all the Mermaid DIYs by then or if I decide I need my beaches overrun with Horseshoe Crabs. Swimming is nice and all, but it's not an activity that really interests me as much as good 'ol fishing.

Only to unlock DIYs/make money. I wasn't a big fan of diving in ACNL and while it has definitely improved in ACNH I still don't find it particularly interesting.

I find it relaxing and surprisingly lucrative, so yes. I think I've caught everything I can for now anyway, I'm collecting the DIYs even though I'm only interested in making a couple of things and I can always sell the pearls. I haven't had much luck with turnips so I like other ways of making money.

For fun, Pascal, quick money and getting the horseshoe and spider crabs as decor, I want to put as many crabs outside if I can lol.

gotta keep swimming for pascal, also the animation is adorable

Yeah, I enjoy the activity and I can make a lot of bells in a really short amount of time. I'm much better at it than fishing, nevermind bug hunting.

I would do it for Pascal even after completing all the mermaid series.

Once I've collected everything Pascal gives and I have enough pearls to last forever, and I've completed the diving critterpedia and the nook mile stamps for it, I'll probably be done with it. Although, if it's possible even, maybe I'll have a section if my island where you can only get to it by diving.

I haven’t been diving much but it‘s a fun little extra. I’m not even close to finding all the sea creatures and DIYs. 😅

While I’m not a fan of the mermaid pieces, diving is another way to make bells beyond farming trees and the shore. Doubt I’ll abandon it completely.

Do the horseshoe crabs appear like how the turtles do or something? Like no tank?

yes

-Even after finishing bugs/fish in the other games, I still caught bugs and fished for fun
-diving probably makes more bells than either of those
-pearls can be used to make cool recipes, and are highly sought after in the community for trading
-pascal is the best character in the game
-it's fun

I dunno if you can dive for alphabet soup but eh probably not unless I still need to complete goals.
