When is everyone breaking up for Christmas?

There was a Christmas in the Summer a long time ago but there was no gift giving it was just to celebrate the birth of christ but at some point the combined the two to make the current day christmas, we give gifts on chirstmas because of Saint Nicholas.
AND to represent the giving of God's gift to us - Jesus.

No, History get blown out of proportion Joseph was the father Mary was no Virgin.
