When do you think the next Nook's Cranny upgrade will be released?

It looks like dataminers have found evidence of a third Nook's Cranny update, but I think that everyeone agrees that it was coming either way.

For the second Nook's cranny upgrade we had to wait for 30 days since the first one. Now that the game has been out for a couple months, almost everyone have had the second upgrade for more than 30 days.

When do you think they will release the third upgrade?
40/50 days seems like a good amount of time to me, so I hope to see the next upgrade in late may or early June, first half of June at the latest.

I'm also hoping they will release new forniture sets along with this upgrade.
 
I'm thinking a Nook's Cranny upgrade could be a part of the next big patch, which will probably take place sometime towards the end of the summer when all of the events from this previous patch have taken place. My hunch is also kinda dependent on the total amount of store upgrades we're gonna have. In NL there were five stages for the Nookling store, and I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo wants to spread out the upgrades further along if the total amount of upgrades is less than that.
 
Isn't there a special section in the existing upgraded NC that is used for summer wares (surfboards, etc), according to TT-ers? Seems like it may not be upgraded until fall if so

I don't think seasons have anything to do with it due to the hemispheres. Southern Hemisphere players are currently in fall, going into winter right now.

That being said, I can imagine another big update around the end of June/early July, and it might have another upgrade.
 
I expect it’ll be in the next major update so late June or early July. If they want to space things out evenly, I think around 60 days would be right for the next upgrade.
 
A summer update sounds plausible. I love the idea of an interior expansion, but I'm honestly going to miss the current exterior; it fits my island really nicely.

In past games I've always liked at least one of the prior expansions more than the final product. I've never enjoyed the massive and super fancy high-end department store look as much as the quaint small-town shop.
 
June is when I'm guessing on the next update. I imagine they probably would've planned it for around E3 timeframe, but since E3 is not happening and Nintendo is rumored to not even be doing their typical June Direct now... Who knows?
 
Voted June, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's July.
But it'll probably just be Leif joining the town for good, and going along with Timmy, and Tommy.
 
I'd really like it to be sooner rather than later like June or July, but tbh I chose August or later cause I'm not super hopeful it'll be any time soon.
 
My guess is July! Curious tho, where can I read up on this datamine? Does anyone have some source

! but i do hope they bring back gyroids and some furniture sets haha, so i would guess that would be bundled in with whatever large update they’ll push out this year. i don’t see it coming too soon but i hope it’s sometime before winter, of course
 
I'm not Katrina so I can't pick a specific month really, but I'm assuming it'll probably be in the next update? it feels like the highest priority thing that should come in the next update, even if things like cooking and diving were also found in datamining
 
I was thinking sometime in June! I feel like they'd wanna get this released asap so mid-late June/early July is my guess
 
Seeing as it wasn't shown in the preview, I'm thinking July or later. I could be wrong, though.
