When do you think TBT will have more weight/value again?

I miss using TBT so much but it just seems like all people want is NMTs. I guess I'm fine with that but iI want tbt to be at least somewhat of value.

This is a great time to save up TBT because a lot of people dont care about it. Just sell everything for tbt and by the time people start to care about it, you will be loaded.

If there are other games you play such as Pokemon, you could use the TBT to buy pokemon from other people.
Thats just one example, but also if you use other sites like Pokeheroes or Flight Rising, you could also trade TBT for their currency from members on here.

Some people also use TBT for art/commissions

I quit playing Pokémon after Crystal and Gen 2. I only play Pokémon Snap once in a blue moon. Also played let’s go Eevee but that was a one and done kind of game. So tbt probably doesn’t have as much value to me. Now years ago I loved doing the events and earning the holiday collectibles though.

The good thing is it Isn’t hard to build up tbt. If you’re stuck working at home like me and post often, it’s simple to earn. I also am just obsessed with talking about the game though lol.

I would love to buy things with tbt! i think it's getting fair amount of use in nook's cranny. nothing like nmt or bells of course, but there definitely are threads accepting tbt as payment (sometimes the only payment)

my priority is in-game stuff atm, but if I were to spend tbt on other things I would totally use it on art. loads of super talented artists ask for tbt! i have no interest in collectibles though as you can probably tell from my sidebar so I feel tbt is definitely a niche currency. if it isn't that commonly accepted as currency for in-game items then it's gonna go down because that's exclusively what some people use it for

There are a few shops that accept TBT only and I bought a bunch of DIYs with them, but you're right, NMT is vastly more popular at the moment. I don't understand the value of TBT at all, so I do really like using it as a currency. I know I will never care about collectibles, so this is like free money just for posting on the forums, lol.

I'd guess a lot of newer members feel the same, and that's why it's the less popular currency. It's not universal or transferable to other popular trading sites like Nookazon or Reddit, it's really only good for one thing so it likely only has sentimental value to older members/people that care about forum collectibles.

I prefer TBT to any other currency since I'm into collectibles and I wish more people would buy from my shop with it more. I liked NMT more when I was looking for permanent villagers.

Hey if you don't think your TBT is worth much, you should give away your TBT, preferably to me--
I'm just kidding! But TBT is much more valuable than you think because of its 1. versatility && 2. rarity. Not a lot of people are loaded on TBT & because of that, TBT can be used in smaller quantities to buy you lots and lots of good in-game stuff- and not just for NH and not just for all the Animal Crossing games. I've traded pokemon for TBT before. You just need to find the right buyers.
For instance, me, I'll 100% give you stuff for TBT if you don't want yours. ;P

I've seen some threads of people selling bells for TBT. Like 1 mil bells for 100 TBT and so forth. It would be nice if people sold villagers for TBT but everyone wants NMT now haha.

I'm good on collectibles for now, so I wasn't sure what to use tbt on besides just hoarding for future collectibles. But someone mentioned it being able to trade for Flight Rising stuff? If that's the case I'll have to use it more haha. Wasn't sure if it was allowed trading with pet site games. Anyone know the tbt to treasure/gem rate?
