Mine is the theme to Dambusters...an old World War 2 film that I've never actually watched, has a pretty well known theme though. Don't know why I chose it, it just popped into my head and it happened to fit perfectly without a beat to spare!

By the way, I can compose tunes by ear so if anybody wants any melody then let me know and I'll happily write it for you.

Really? I haven't seen any lol they're not super popular threads for the most part, and peoples' town tunes can change besides, it's fun to see / listen to what others have their town tunes set to!

initially laziness in making a town tune, though I've grown to like the silence on the hour if I'm playing with the volume on (which isn't very often tbh, I normally just mute the 3DS and shuffle my iTunes music library)

My town tune is the main chorus of 'Viridian City' - a Pokemon song. I first made it when I started the game last year, I couldn't think of anything so I went with what I knew (Pokemon!), but now I'm so used to it that I don't think I could change it! It's just become part of my town
