What's your town name and why?

My first one was 'Clifton' as it was where I used to live. Put more thought into my second game and named it Meadow and my Mayor is 'Rose' (sticking with the meadow theme) my second character is Poppy and my third is Daisy. Just got my 3rd new leaf and have called it 'Gemstone' and my mayor is Ruby and my others will be gem related names. It is hard though to think of names.

Wakuwaku

It's Japanese for excitement and heart throbbing, along with being a cute word.
Its meant to represent the town with something new always around the corner, and its charming Animal Crossing cuteness.

I regret naming my first own Bonbon T---T
My second town is named Cotton, which I like :3 appropriate for a forest I think. It evokes something white and fluffy, but also coming from nature ^^

But I only wish it was possible for longer names.
My first pick were 'Blanc Soucis', 'Brumeux', 'Hyacinthe' that are more myserious x3

Well, the first is named Tardis because it bigger on the inside
And the second is named Kreide (which is German for chalk or crayon) because that's the name of a town in my current writing project^^ (in the story many people were killed there but, okay, whatever)

My town is named Qvaria.

My friend and I decided to write a story about a relatively young, married couple, Naurak and Lia, who live in the near future. We sat together to come up with a name. We decided it would start with Q because it is the least frequently occurring letter in the English language, and we are both a little unique and left of centre, so it seemed to fit. V was the next letter we added, purely because I feel as though v is a very ignored letter in the alphabet. The A and the R came next, and we played around with rearranging these four letters for a while, because QVAR seemed hard to pronounce. We were going to leave it as Qvar, but it didn't sound finished to me so, as we are both writers, we decided to evaluate the names that we had picked for places in our stories. He had produced a civilisation called Tyraz in his latest story, so we ended up with Qvaryz (Kwv-aar-is), but I thought that it felt strained. So when I named my New Leaf town, I changed it from Qvaryz to Qvaria.

And so, that is why I am Lia of Qvaria.

PS: If you read to the end of my post, I'm proud of you. It was a long story.

If I had my time again, I would name my town Town. I know it sounds lame, but it's a beautiful word, and one of the oldest in the English language.

My town's name is Phantom, I don't really know why I chose it ... Guess I wanted a name to match my mayor's name (Boo)

My first town is Unova, cause I couldn't think of anything else, so I picked a region from Pokemon :D
My second town is Risu, which means squirrel in japanese. I thought of making it a full squirrel town, but I don't have much squirrels there atm.

I named it dEaD eNd, because the whole town is going to be a huge maze. I've started making it with bushes, trees, stumps ect, and I'll be making it as creepy as I can.

You can't make a horror town without the freakishness and mystery.

Rosewood- hmmm don't really know
Eclipse- Because I love the twilight books/movies
Seaside- I love the show Jersey Shore
Moonview- Don't really know.

Hanamura.

No deep reason. I was staring at the town name entry box and quickly strung two words together: hana (flower) and mura (village). Despite not putting much thought into it, thirteen months later I'm still happy with the name I chose.

Mine is the Town of NeverWas, based on the World that Never Was from Kingdom Hearts. I am working on path patterns to make it look like the floor in the nobody castle and I made the heartless logo out of red and black roses. :)

The town name is 'Our Town' continuing the theme I had in CF which was named My Town.

Because of reasons.
