what's your skin care routine?

during the day i wash my face with water then i have to take pills to control acne. at night I just put cream stuff on my face then wash it off and then put differin moisturizer on my face then I go to sleep. i don’t have much of a routine but i try to do it everyday, sometimes i don’t do it because im lazy af and I just slap water on my face and call it a day (which is probably why my skin is bad)

it doesnt matter what i do i never break out unless its hormonally... the food crumbs on my bed exfoliate my skin lol

Face wash, toner, moisturizer, then makeup.

I've got wipes to remove makeup, but I also use an egg based oil cleanser to get anything I may have missed.

If my skin is feeling mad after being in the sun, I have an aloe based gel for my face that helps. At night I like to use water cream for any dryness.

I use Boscia black scrub in the morning and at night.

im a big skincare junkie and have been since i was about 17 or so, which was when i started to actually learn how to take care of my skin. my routine has changed a lot since i last posted here (four years ago gasp).

in the morning, i just rinse with lukewarm water and put on my SPF. at night, i cleanse with cerave's hydrating cleanser, exfoliate with AHA/BHA 30% twice a week, apply niacinamide & vitamin c serum, then moisturize with eucerin's Q10 anti-wrinkle cream + a few drops of rosehip oil. after all of that soaks in i use azelaic acid right before bed. it sounds like a lot more than it actually is lol but my skin is basically flawless and i credit all of that to this routine. (cerave, the ordinary, timeless & eucerin are the best brands tbh)

since the quarantine i haven't been taking good care of my skin:(((((( im also stuck abroad so i dont have my facial soaps and creams

i really should get back to it, i made a small list of things i wanna buy that in total dont go over $50 but still has all the essential steps to taking care of my skin

omg is that the ordinary?? i could tell before reading the last part hahaha i was thinking of buying that chemical exfoliant but i have sensitive skin and it seems too strong to be used twice a week!!

it is! i looove the ordinary. i have sensitive skin too, so when i first started it i only used it once a week. just recently i upped it to twice and haven't had any issues. id definitely recommend it but start with once a week, and maybe do 5-7 minutes instead of ten and go from there. ive also heard great things about their lactic acid which i know is on the gentler side.

i had a list in mind to order but haven't purchased yet bc i was scared all their chemical exfoliants had warning not to use on sensitive skin and people saying they got long term skin damage bc of how they used it

tbf this isnt the first time i use a peeling solution so it might not be as bad as i make it to be in my head lol but thanks for your comment!! it really encouraged me to make the purchase, i love how its really cheap and yet has a really good reputation even amongst specialists in skin care

i use a micellar water in the morning to cleanse my face because i have dry skin so over washing isn’t good for me. i currently use the ole henriksen banana bright eye cream morning and night but have used drunk elephants shaba complex before that. i have the vitamin c eye cream from drunk elephant on the way now. i switch between drunk elephants protini and la la retro depending on what i feel like ordering, right now i purchased protini because my la la retro is out. then in the morning i use paulas choice sunscreen and at night i use the paulas choice 2% bha toner. i’m in love with the laneige lip masks and use them all the time because my lips are picky and only seem to properly moisturize when i use something thick and heavy. all in all my skincare routine isn’t too crazy but it’s definitely expensive but worth it to me because i get compliments on my skin a lot

edit: forgot to mention (as if this isn’t long enough already) i use the fresh soy cleanser at night but need to figure out something else to use because i made the switch a while ago to cruelty free and vegan beauty products

In the morning, I use a scrub once or twice a week. The rest of the days I just use water, moisturizer, sunscreen

At night I wash with Cetaphil, then micellar water if I wore makeup, rinse that off. Most nights I use a tretinoin gel and moisturizer but I'll skip every once in a while if my skin's really dry and use a sheet mask instead. It's cleared up my skin a loooot and I'm kind hesitant to take the tret out in case I end up breaking out a lot again

it's already too late for me, time to use makeup imo
im using makeup too, i gave in only two years ago and im like 22 now so that's really much later than all my friends haha

i just bought some skincare products tho so if the routine im going to do works I'll let you know

I wash my face with a gentle cleanser and I moisturize with a lightweight moisturizer; that’s it. I do facial masks maybe a few times a year when I can find time and I exfoliate maybe a few times a month with a scrub. I wash daily with a wash cloth, so that gently exfoliates my face already.

The women in my family have beautiful skin because we don’t do anything to it and rarely wear makeup. We also don’t get a lot of sun exposure which also ages/damages the skin

I always wash my face at night to get rid of all the dust in my pores and to prevent breakouts. I have very oily skin, and if I skip my beauty routine the next morning, I’ll regret it a lot because pimples will appear on my chin and forehead. Also, I use a lot of SPF cream to prevent aging and hyperpigmentation on my face and neck. My body’s appearance worries me a lot, and recently I even thought of getting a job on the low part of my body to look even better. A friend of mine advised me the https://gartnerplasticsurgery.com/brazilian-butt-lift-nj/ company for mommy lift, and now I’m waiting for the consultation.
