Merengue is close to getting banished because she basically only ever crafts peach dress with a sprinkling of peach rug. My native fruit is orange :/

like... We literally all have the recipe. There's no possible way to not have this recipe, it's such a waste

i started this thread because i was very annoyed that all my villagers were cycling between the same 3 diys 25% of the time and was interested if others were experiencing something similar!

here's what my villagers just love crafting: i recently counted and i have seven knit-grass backpacks, five grass skirts and four wooden-knot walls...

Could use one of those knit-grass packs and wooden-knot walls actually...

i don't have the barrel. according to the guide some recipes have to be unlocked by obtaining a certain amount of other recipes. for example you need to have 100 recipes to unlock the cherry speakers. This pertains to getting it from a villager the guide doesn't say anything about whether it affects you getting it from a bottle

I get a lot of the fruit stuff, most specifically the peach chair and peach surprise box but apart from those I get a lot of the basic stuff you get at the start or the wooden block set. I really wish it was made so that you didnt get the stuff you have to get at the start. The worst is getting a simple DIY workbench...

Probably the grass or mountain standee DIY. I get those as gifts, as balloon DIY, as bottle DIY, as presents in the mail and from villagers currently crafting.

And they're worthless. They look stupid, they don't sell for much and everyone already has them. I'd legitimately rather receive nothing.
