I think we should just ban them. They're obviously trolling. They're not making a mistake like "oops, I made a mistake while surfing on page 60 of the posts in Brewsters's Cafe." They'd have to dig up the posts first.

I concur.
To relieve of some peoples' confusion, how about we name some?

And also, I don't think it's trolling, I think it's just stupidity. We all have done this in the past, but who does it over six, let alone ten times?

Especially after they've been warned several time. I'm so tempted to just rattle off the names.

I don't see what's so bad about naming them.

There's StoneZack, Ryusaki, and I think that one Rover guy.

I'm gonna wait 'till this topic dies down so I can bump it.

But in all seriousness, banning them seems like a bit of an overreaction..

Okay, temp-ban. Obviously the warnings aren't working...

Well, other than temp-bans or bans, the thing that drives away most idiots on this forum are flame wars against them, and they seem to have worked, even if the idiots started it themselves.

Remember the "Anti-CyberBullying club"? The Eacboy era of '09? That one kid that claimed to have a wife and three Wiis that can hack and raged against Nigel?

Yea, but I don't think we should go around starting flame wars. This forum is already melting away as it is.

We don't start them, we provoke them into starting it without actually flaming. We complain about their actions and then they flame us.

The way I see it, we'll be upping the ante, having more activity than ever. It's not flame wars that have made this forum on the verge of dying, it's just that it's been three years without an AC game. We might as well get started with reviving TBT right before AC3DS is out. Most of my memories here have been forum events and raging idiots.

Wiihaven <3 <3

Still don't think we'd be going about it the right way.

Well, it's threads like these that start it all.
Some idiot comes here complains that we're mean and don't let them learn their lesson.
Of course, someone's going to provoke them to rage, and then at the end they swear a lot, resulting in a ban, and resulting in funny memories. It's a win/win situation for the forum's activity and the forum's idiot control. The flame war doesn't drive away any other people but the idiots, and also could make some newbies actually stay for a good amount of time.
I would've left years ago if eacboy hadn't came and raged.

@Liv
Oh yeah! I remember his name now.

Exactly. They have to learn that there are repercussions for their actions. Going against the rules and expecting to get off free isn't exactly the right mindset.

They've gotten well over two warnings, stopping now would already leave a wake of mass destruction behind.

But I have a question: Are warnings for people to learn from their lessons or because they deserve it?
