What's the quickest way you've spent bells?

3 years but just became active with AC:NH trading from like mid-2020 to mid-2021

Neither do I! I just try to follow the tier list spreadsheet some are nearly impossible to get, but it's definitely a lot of fun to try out!

I have bought a few high-end collectibles for 1k-2k TBT, but my most expensive purchase by far was my Glam Feather for 8k TBT. It took a while to save up for that.

I'm curious as to how many years people have been on this site have the most desirable collectibles.
I mean everybody seems to die over the fact that eggs are collectibles. I will also admit that these are pretty dang cute and I wish I had the money to purchase one but unfortunately I do not :-(.

I personally only started collecting collectibles this year after Easter event. Some of the users with lots of "hight tier" collectibles have only been on the site since 2020 - so the date of joining doesn't have anything to do with the collectibles you acquire imo.

I make the most tbt by selling collectibles I earn during site events such as the recent Camp Belltree or TBTWC. I also run an art shop. The grind is real, a few hundred tbt mean several hours of work for me. Other people have material shops, amiibo shops etc. I'm sure that you can make it as well, if you put your mind to it! There are also many gorgeous and cute collectibles that are really affordable and not so hard to come by.

I liked the eerie potion from last Halloweens event. It's definitely got a pleasing color and it's definitely super cute. I figured I wasn't the only person who thought this and I've decided to get this.

I spent a lot to get my prized Star Fragment Lineup. I’ll post it below as at the time of posting I don’t currently have it active:

I managed to grab a Celeste Chick Plush, White Star Fragment and Yellow Star Fragment from the 2020 Bell Tree Fair, but the rest (aside from the Shooting Star that I won for being chosen as a staff favourite) I had to buy from others.

I date traded my Celeste Plush for 1150TBT with the help of Jhine7’s Date trading shop. Also traded my White Fragment at no cost so that they were newer than my shooting star.

Then I bought each collectible for approx:

Traded my Pinky for this one

1.2k (I only paid 1k really 200 was covered by SpaceTokki77 )

I did some additional date trading after acquiring each collectible in order to achieve them in a specific order. At most I believe I sent a small thank you TBT donation.

So that’s what? 15,250ish? Not including Tokki’s 200 donation, any additional trade donations or the worth of my Pinky collectible. Oof. It really is my all time favourite lineup though so totally worth it for me.

the most pure tbt I've ever spent was when I bought an OG purple feather from Pennifer for like 7200 tbt? took quite a bit of selling to save that up lol.
