What's the quickest way you've spent bells?

In a previous ACNH town I had, I bought a TOOOOOON of art from one user, and I barely had enough bells. XDDD

commissions, i spent 5k on the art in my sig and it was absolutely worth. the artists on here are so talented ;-;

I never seem to have bells. Possibly never more than 500 tbt at a time because I’m always wasting the bells.


The fastest I wasted my bells was possibly when I was trying to buy potions. I don’t really remember how, but I managed to get my hands on quite a lot of bells ( well not a lot, but a lot for me). In the span of maybe 2 days I went from 5k to 0. I was able to get a full lineup of Eerie star potions though.


Then I couple of months ago, I managed to accumulate 500 bells. Someone was selling their black famous mushrooms for 100 tbt each, so I bought 5. I was left with 0 tbt, but soooo worth it.
