What’s the best ice cream brand?

For me I have to go with homemade. I can’t have dairy anymore anyways and most store bought ice creams (dairy or non dairy) have additives like carrageenan etc and I have enough gut issues as it is.

I've been partial to Turkey Hill brand for a good number of years now since they seemed like a step up from the other ones available. They make limited edition flavors during certain parts of the year, like Pumpkin Pie in the Autumn months, but unfortunately they stopped stocking those limited edition flavors in my area. The normal flavors are still great though.

I recently saw Tillamook in a store, though, so after seeing the posts in this thread I'm kind of curious to try them next time I have cause to get some ice cream.

Years ago they made a sweet and salty vanilla flavor with pretzel pieces in it. I wish they still did that. It was really good ❤️

All of them are lovely!

I think Breyer’s French vanilla is fantastic
I also love the Reese’s peanut butter flavor
Turkey Hill is a decent popular store brand too

I tend to get a small pint of Haagen Daas or Ben and Jerry’s because once I start, I’m bound to eat the whole thing! Halo some great low calorie flavors that make me feel less bad about eating the whole container
I also like Trader Joe’s green tea mochi ice cream (I really liked their pints of green tea ice cream but I haven’t been able to find it anymore, so the mochi are the closest thing when I don’t want to go to a specialty Asian supermarket!)

I tried some Jeni’s but it seemed overhyped to me.
I still need to go to a Salt and Straw though, I’ve heard so many good things and they opened one in my hometown so next time I go visit my family I’ve got to make a point to go:D
