What do YOU use for video editing? just curious

or i break them into frames and edit the frames... then use a program i made to convert it back to a video...

I haven't made any videos in a really long time, but when I did I used Windows movie maker... and adobe premiere or whatever. God I hated how often WMM crashed...

i cant find the stuff i save
before i used to use it i would try n it took 2 days jusy to say it failed -.-

I dont really make videos so no need for me to spend money on something I wont use.

Movie Maker is the biggest piece of crap ever. I had to use it for two years in my media class. It crashes and freezes ALL THE TIME for now reason at all! And it just plain sucks. It only has one video layer! You can't even chroma key with it! Finally we got some real video editing software this year in media. Now we use Adobe Premier Elements. I used it for the first half of the year, but when I got my MacBook Pro I got Final Cut Express, and I fell in love with it. So now I always use Final Cut Express to edit videos. Occasionally I'll use iMovie if it's for something small. (iMovie comes free with every Mac just like Movie Maker comes free with every Windows PC, but iMovie is just SO much better than that Movie Maker garbage.)

No, but iMovie is. I bought FCE for $200, which isn't bad for a good video editing program.

Yes. Although it doesn't match the power of Final Cut, Adobe Premier, and Sony Vegas, it's still a hell of a lot better than Movie Maker.
