My mom gave me her old Gameboy which barely worked btw. I ended up breaking it like a year or two later. After that I got some sort of DS. I'd like to say a DS Lite but i'm unsure.
The SNES! Great console. I have great memories playing the dreaded Lion King game with my siblings. I loved the Super Mario RPG game, Earthworm Jim, Super Mario Kart, etc.
First console I owned was a Nintendo 64 I got for christmas the year it came out. I was 5 at the time and I only ever owned two games for it, Mario 64 and Mario Party 2
My first console was a V-Tech Smile. It was a Chinese cartridge based console that mainly only had licensed games for infants. Even when I was 5 it didn’t hold my attention for long and I didn’t get into video games until my mom bought me a DS Lite for my 8th birthday.
Probably the first one I played on was a 3ds, but having a few older siblings meant that there were already plenty of different consoles in the house, so most of them would have been "mine" from the same time. I have vivid memories of watching rise of the guardians on my psp all the time, playing that one Dora the explorer game on the DS lite, and rage quitting when I couldn't win playing MK on the DS. My family used to have a bag full of all our consoles for when we were travelling, it was really fun
