What villagers are at your New Year celebration?

Bones, Bea, Grizzly, Ursala, and Vivian were at mine! With the update, I've been able to get all of my faves in town, so I would have been happy to see any of my villagers there haha. I remember a time when I would save and quit just to load up the game again because all of my least favorites were walking around outside lol

Yeah same! I'm so happy with all 10 of mine finally! I'm actually growing attached to some of the Sanrio villagers too, which I didn't expect because they were a bit girly looking to me. But they're nice! I'm glad I had a minute to check in with the town for about 2 minutes, although I wasn't able to be on for the countdown obviously. Happy New Year!

I decided to go to all my towns.
Vista: Static, Doc, Hazel, Caroline, and Francine
Chocolat: Poppy, Cally, Vich?, O'Hare and Mint (others were out before, but I exited the game)
Moonview: Flurry, Sylvana, Lobo, Nibbles and Hamlet
Flora: Wolfgang, Muffy, Cece, Claude and Pecan

Butch, Eugene, Joey, Maple, and Rodeo. Seeing some of the villagers staying home alone is kind of sad to be honest.
Yeah but you can visit everyone and see them in a hat. 5 are at the plaza and 5 at home. All in hats. So I can see Marty look even better than evern all nigt!
Haha yeah, I noticed 5 of them are either at the plaza or at home. I guess I just like them being at the plaza. Aww lucky you! Wish I could have Marty. He's my favorite from Sanrio

In my plaza there was Tangy, Paula, Phil, Pecan and Beardo. I love how they make their way to the plaza by walking for 3 seconds, stopping for 3 seconds, rince and repeat. Also one of the only times we get to see them wear hats (makes me question why they don't wear hats outside of this festival). What always bothers me is that some are at home, so they didn't get to experience the timer countdown to the new year.

They do, but you have to talk to them a few times first (I think you have to wear a New Year's hat to get them to wear theirs).
