What type of letters do you save?

In the post office, you can save any letters you want, and today I?m asking which type of letters you save? I, for example, save all of my villagers moving away letters. What about you?

I never really used the saved letter options, but I love your idea of saving all the letters of the villagers who moved away. That is a very neat idea. I might just do that too. If I did save any letters, it probably be the very sweet letters that villagers sometimes send. Like the ones from the smug villagers. They're always so romantic.

I save all the first letters they send me and the moving away letters. It's fun to look back on at the end of the year

If I need to save something in the letter inventory, I use the mom's letters.

I save special achievement letters and moving letters, and also any that my friends send me. Sometimes I'll save miscellaneous villager letters too.

I save letters that make me emotional! I've had quite a few from Vesta saying how she saw something and thought of me, or had a dream about me! I just think they're so cute and I like to reread them~

Muffy moved out letter got saved. It was a bridge placement problem and it was before the update.

The rest of the saved mail has all the event items saved. Made sure to save a complete set snowpeople, halloween and Easter. 2nd year I never got a full set.

At first, I would save most of them just because.

Now, I usually just toss them. I don’t think I’ll go back to read any.

I don't save any at the post office, but I keep 5 or 6 in my inventory at all times to store tools. For those letters, I save the ones that mean the most to me from the villagers I feel a connection with. They usually aren't the standard gift or moving letters, but random letters that sound really sweet or funny and make me feel like my villagers are thinking about me.

I try to save the moving away letters of villagers I like, any particularly funny/cute/sappy letters, and the weird ones my mom occasionally sends to me... and any special NPC ones, like from Isabelle, Wishy, and Nintendo, Lottie, etc.

I save bday letters, moving away letters so I know who were already in my town(s), and Wishy letters.

I also save letters from villagers who have moved out! But aside from those, I also tend to save letters sent to me from IRL friends / my mom, letters that mark special occasions, such as having x amount of bells, letters from my in game parents sometimes, or letters from special NPCs, like KK Slider (as long as they aren?t duplicates).

I save all my moving away letters as well, especially from villagers I actually enjoyed having around. Kinda depressing yunno.

I save the achievement letters, the first letters my villagers send me and some moving letters :3

I use the save function at the Post Office as an extension of my storage. All the letters there are ones I've "written" to future me and the text is whatever item I've attached. That way I can pull things out just by reading. Most things are items I don't want to use but want to save because you can't repurchase them, but sometimes I'll put things in my house, seasonally.

The only letters I save that were sent to me are 9 in my inventory. I have one each from my mom and dad, and then a few of the sweeter letters from villagers. Those are used to store tools, leaving one slot free to take a time capsule or write a letter to someone.
