What to do with all these sea creatures?

In TagBack TV’s video he posted earlier today he confirmed that CJ doesn’t buy any of the creatures. You also can’t get models of them 
other than using them to decorate your island/home, the best thing you can do with them is sell to the Nooklings. Although most of them don’t go for many bells.

I placed my extra isopod on the edge of the pier next to fishing pole stand and fish drying rack.
I put two horshoe crabs facing each other on the northwestmost rock edge of my island. That would be their private hangout spot.
I kept several seaweeds and decorated my beaches with them to make it a little more natural. Shame the starfish can't be similarly put on the ground.
Others I kept as house decor or a pet, just like the mantis shrimp.

no way no models??? that's so sad! the creatures are so cool and some are really pretty, i would love to have them on display as models and not just on their tanks. i've placed some seaweed on the beach cos they look really good for natural-looking decoration, but i already had three anemones saved so i could ask cj for a model ;-; they're so colourful and they'd look sooo good as decoration. i haven't caught many creatures yet but i assume most of them have a lot of potential.
i hope they add this on a future update. i'd love love love a giant isopod model. or one of those huge shrimps (mantis prawn i think?) !!!

i was soooo ready to collect 3 of those i wanted models of just in case, some were already in my closet sjdksjd so sad

As much seaweed as I'm picking up it should so be used for the rumored Pirate Gulliver DIYs because as a lifelong beach goer it makes sense hahahah

I'm only keeping the items that you can place down on the beach without the tanks and the pearls for the DIYs. The rest I've sold to nooks, which ends up being a lot. I throw a couple of items on the beach while I'm swimming and once an hour or so I go collect and sell it all.
I'm going to keep some of the bigger ones that display without a cage so I can build a little village for them! When I found out that snapping turtles don't have cages I kept every single one of them and dedicated a little village to them. I'll probably make a beach village with the bigger sea creatures that work the same way. The seaweed is fun to decorate with as well. Other than that, I saved one or two to display in my house like the sea anemone and sea slug and I sell the rest. I probably wont keep them displayed in my house for long though because I feel iffy about keeping salt water creatures in home aquariums in real life so it's bugging me a bit in the game even though it's pretty

I agree! I’m going to try to keep the stash of creatures I caught in my storage for as long as possible since I really would love to have some crab models for my marketplace.
Agreed; you can actually make a good profit from selling the sea life you catch. Last night, after Nook’s Cranny closed, I made over 200k profit from selling everything I caught. The ones that sold under 1k bells were the sea anemone, jellyfish and maybe the starfish as well. There might be others, but those were the ones I noticed with the lowest bells earned.
