What time do balloons switch to the other side of the beach?

I read it was 6pm so last night I moved to the other side of the beach right after 6. the balloons were still coming from the other direction.

On my island it switches at 7pm eastern daylight time.

i think it’s either 7 or 8 pm. I know they switch sides before 9 pm because when I play at that time they always come from a different direction than they did in the morning.
I think it’s random in the morning though. I play every day at 7 am and I have seen balloons come from both directions .

for me they switch at around 4-5 pm ....

All guides list 6pm. Outside when the time changes to 6pm balloons may not change directions. It happened the other night to me and going into a building changed the direction.
