What side of the island do you prefer your peninsula be on?

I can't decide if I like the peninsulas better on the right or the left. I like it on the right because it feels like it is out of the way and really pretty in the early morning. I like it on the left for sunsets, but I also feel like it blocks that side of the island as well. Maybe I'm just weird? I wish we could remove/terraform peninsulas

i've found that i'd like peninsulas to be closer to the north, and on the side that the secret beach is closer to (left or right), bc they're a rly nice lighthouse spot. unfortunately, my current map has a northern peninsula that's not of the side that the secret beach is closer to.

i don't really care too much, the only thing bothering me with mine is that it's smaller than others i've seen online. i feel like i can't do much with it because it's so skinny... it's close to my river mouth on the right side of my island, which i like. honestly, i would be fine with having it on the other side instead.

I have one on top left, one on right bottom on my islands and I have to say I prefer the left one even though it's not as large! I'm not sure I'm keen on the bottom right because it cuts across the beach!

I actually like the bottom right since it sections off long beaches and makes a pretty place for a lighthouse display. I'm not keen on the north locations by the rocks, since that is where I like to put mermaid coves and the lighthouse overshadows those. But thats just my weird self

I'm hoping to make it work by doing something like that with my lower right one! Right now I don't have anything on my beaches so it's no big deal. I put my mermaid cove behind my peninsula on my island with the upper left and I actually really like it, it sectioned it off and made a nice little entrance. I suppose it's all up to how you decorate around it!

I personally don’t care which side it is on but I would prefer the peninsula to be more north than south! Alternatively, I wouldn’t mind if it directly opposite of my dock location so it would be like having 2 “docks”

Ah yeah, my mermaid cove is long! It starts about halfway up the beach (after the boardwalk) with a waterfall area that has statues and then has shell archways leading up to the big rocks in the back where there is shell furniture and musical instruments

Yeah that is where mine is! I have my dock on the bottom left and my peninsula on the bottom right and it balances nicely

I'm pretty ambivalent about where my peninsula is, although I actually didn't realize it could be closer to the south of the island than the north? Both of my islands have northern peninsulas, although one is a block further south than the other. I don't think I have a preference as to side, though.

I don't care tbh. Mine is on the left side of my island, which I'm fine with, but if it was on the right I wouldn't have any problems with it.

I don't really mind too much tbh, I mostly just organically build things around how they're already set up on my island when I start (that could also be because I'm awful at terraforming haha)

I don't mind either side it's on. To be honest, I'm not sure where I would like my peninsula to be, but I have to admit, the one I got right now is actually not too bad. It's on the right side in the middle, so it actually works really good for my lighthouse I'm gonna put down later.

I don’t really care either. Mine is on the same side as my dock tho, which I like. It’s also on the opposite side of where my river meets the ocean, which I also like!
