Do you donate your first catches/finds to Blathers?

Yepp, I always donate first because I’m very forgetful so I figure I might as well get it out the way. Even with that in mind, I still haven’t fully completed my museum lol.

I say depends, because I'm pretty sure the first time I got the scallop, that went right to Pascal.
And also depends on the item. Fossils are pretty easy since you need to check if they're not or not anyways so, he did all the hard work to figure out what fossils are what.
If I am doing bug catching, fish, or diving depending I may keep one and find another if they look cute enough to be kept in cages.

I do try looking for another one the same day though. If I don’t donate something then I forget about it until forever.

Yes I always donate my first catches to blathers as I am trying to complete my museum and I worry that I would not be able to find them again haha.

Always! Otherwise I fear I'd lose track of what I have and haven't donated. I know the encyclopedia does say, but still, that's more effort than just donating asap.

I remember back in the day I always found the museum to be completely useless and boring. Now I always finish the museum as it’s a thing I can do.

Yes definitely! This game is the closest I’ve come to completing the museum, and to be honest I don’t have much interest in displaying any particular fish/bugs/fossils/art, and am happy to use any duplicates I find afterwards. I’m hoping to eventually finish the museum at some point, for the first time in the series for me.

I do always donate my first catch to Blathers, especially if it’s something I’m highly unlikely to see again. If it’s something I want to give to Flick to have a model made though, I’ll keep all of the catches until I have 4, just to be sure I don’t screw myself out of the model.

Yes, I did for everything except the valiant statue lol. Those are so gorgeous to decorate with, I believe I still need a genuine one for my museum.
