What should I get for Christmas?

It counts what you like:
If you like Halo games and online matches: Xbox360
If you like Playstation games and good internet on consoles: PS3
If you just want somit to do internet and Pc games: Laptop.
IMHO go for PS3

If you do like games, then either a PS3/XB360 depending on which console has more games that you like. Also they both have somewhat rudimentary internet capabilities. If you're less into games, then maybe a laptop would be better. : D

This is probably what you should base it on ;P

Not the majority

Yes, but there are barely any good computer games unless they're online.

Dragon Age: Origins
The Sims
Modern Warfare 2

Just a few I can think of off by heart which are single-player & good, but there's many more.

Yes, but they can't compete with some of the games on the ps3 and Xbox 360.

A computer is worth it in the long run. You can play the games Jas0n mentioned, plus do plenty of other things.

Like what games exactly? The majority of the games on consoles are on the PC also, atleast the good ones.
