What path do You use?

I use The Path for my main paths. But I still use all the other paths too specific areas. Ex: the stone paths around the museum and cemetery, and dirt paths in the original forest. ( bc I got lazy and didn't wanna pick up all the bamboo leaves items I placed and replace them in order to add The Path in there too, so I just left the original dirt path lol. )

I think I actually use all of them in some spot on my island somewhere! My main paths are with the stone path, I think it looks nice and I like the sound it makes when you walk on them. I used borders at first but missed the sound when you walk over the path ):

for my plaza area's I use the arched tile path, I think it looks great next to the stone path ^-^
I also love working with 'stepping stones' it's the standard stone paths, but I just played around with the shape!
I did it by my entrance too with sand and dirt paths for the flowers ^-^

for personal gardens + my greenhouse I use the terracota path, I think it's really pretty and cosy looking!
I also have a little farm and used the light and dark dirt paths for that + custom flower designs

in my zen garden, zen spa and my campsite I used the sand path, dirt path and the wooden planks
I also use little custom flower patterns everywhere so everything blends together

I try to use different things on my island, so for my diner I used the brick path for the outside part and the wooden planks for the inside of the diner + the kitchen. I might change the wood for a custom design but I haven't seen one that I think would fit nicely with the diner

I can't find a picture of the front of the diner, but is has the brick path with some tables, chairs and a reception desk,
just like I did here with the bikes I placed a custom pattern around it with a flowery border ^-^

I do use custom paths all over my beach! I use a pink brick and a white wooden plank for that, and I really like it c:

I was thinking of making my town more pink (like my beaches) and used a custom code pink brick on my plaza, I tried it oud on a plaza that also has pink wedding furniture and I really like it! I still miss the walking sound though haha but because it's more for decoration then for walking I don't really mind (can't include picture because I hit the limit lol)

I use the standard dirt path around the majority of my island because I like that it looks pretty natural, but then I use the brick path near my shops and museum.

I'm kind of stuck with paths right now. I use terracotta for my entryway and the lower west half of my island, and the rest right now is dirt. Since I am planning a statue garden on the lower east half, I think I'm going to switch it to stone. Most likely, the residential areas & etc (which are on the higher levels) will keep the dirt path. I don't really like the look of most custom paths, they look kind of unnatural and jarring for my taste so I like to stick to the in-game ones.

I feel like the terracotta is going to look bad with the snow when winter comes, so I'll probably switch it out with either brick or stone once it gets late fall. I don't mind doing this as by that point I'll be finished designing my island's areas and so if the only thing I have to do is switch out the bushes from hibiscus to holly and the paths from terracotta to stone / brick then I will be perfectly happy.

I've used the brick path near my revamped museum, and alternate brick and wooden path leading to my lighthouse. before I tried revamping my layouts, my paths were stone. I'm also using some custom stones on my dark dirt garden areas to prevent flower spread.

This one! I found it on tumblr I'm pretty sure. I kind of wish that I made my own, so I might still do that in the future c:
