So much love for bats here! I'd love to see pomeranian villagers- all cute and tiny and puffy! Or chihuahua villagers. Llama/Alpaca villagers would be nice but there was Reese and Cyrus.

Shark and snake villagers! I've wanted snakes for a long time though it'd be difficult for them to wesr clothes. I would also love fox or owl villagers but unfortunately those were taken by NPCs so theres practically no chance for that happening.

Here are also inspirations from another popular Game in Japan which we will probably never see. Also has Plant Characters, but I doubt Nintendo would ever put a Plant Character in Animal Crossing.

While it’s sequels are japan exclusive, the first entry actually released outside of Japan, in English! It’s called Magicians Quest: Mysterious Times in the US. It’s for the DS, and fantastic, I bought it way back as a kid and love it, a very unique spin on the animal crossing formula. It’s pretty expensive to buy, but I really suggest emulation! It’s so underrated. That red panda was my boyfriend at one point, lol. You can actually date in this game!

Owls and Giraffes for sure! I'd also love to see more sea animals like dolphins. I'm not big on bugs at all irl but a lot of the bug villager concept art I've seen for bees and moths are really cute.
