I've spent a fair bit of time looking through some of the threads we've had over the past year or so, and I noticed that despite having one talking about marriage, there aren't any asking whether we're in a relationship or not, so I wanted to change that!

To start it off, I'm single, and I have been for my entire life. I've wanted to be in a relationship for a good chunk of my life, but as the years have gone on, I've grown to accept the fact that it's highly unlikely I'll ever end up in one. That's just the way life goes sometimes.

I'm not sure if I should say this so openly but I'm currently in a polyamorous relationship! I have two partners, my girlfriend who I've been with for 7 years and my boyfriend for 8 and we are dating separately (so they're not together). They have their own partners as well who are extremely sweet!

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 5 years. He’s my first relationship and it’s only gotten better as we’ve grown together.

i'm in a relationship and today is actually our 1st anniversary. i met him in high school, we were in the same grade and we began talking in 12th grade (two years ago). we didn't officially start dating until last year, though.

Single and happy. I've already been in relationships but I realized that it's not for me.

i recently celebrated four years with my boyfriend! we met on tinder when i was at university. he's the only boyfriend i've ever had, and we just got an offer accepted to buy our first home together. the honeymoon period never wore off for me, and i feel like i have a crush on him despite us literally being together haha!

Single. I only had crushes that went nowhere. But I'm not losing hope, I know that someone is out there.

Edit: That last part made me sound desperate, I'm not. Even if I don't end up with anyone, it's not like the end of the world.

I only ever had one crush in my entire life, and that went nowhere. I couldn't feel attraction to anyone else, no matter what.

The same crush lasted at least more than a decade, and it was one-sided. Last year, he got married to a girl I also know and I wasn't even invited to their wedding, even though nobody ever knew I was in love with him. I'm glad I couldn't go to the wedding so that I wouldn't have to deal with my heart being broken.

I vowed to never love again—I haven't cared about love and relationships since.

I have been feeling happy and more healthy since I realized on the day of the wedding that I'm really aro-ace!

I'm single and I have had a relationship, or a couple, whatever. (The online ones I had were weird and I don't know if I can count them.) The one IRL one I had was sooo long ago it seems inaccurate to even count it at this point.

I've only ever fell deeply for someone twice. It happens once in a blue moon for me, and both times it has happened toward loners.

I don't know that I'll ever find love. I don't even know if a relationship would even work for me. I don't know how I'd feel about touching someone (to any degree) and I don't know how I'd feel about having my space always invaded. I don't understand my sexuality at all at this point and think I'm somewhere on the ace spectrum. But...some part of me still wants love and a relationship, I just don't know that it's practical for me. Both because the only people that are ever attracted to me are older men (I'm as attractive as... a potato. lol) and second for the reasons mentioned before.

Damn, why do you have to split the Single option up like that. 😭

I'm Single. I was in a relationship before but honestly wish I wasn't.

I have a boyfriend who I've been with for two years, but we're in an open relationship and I've been somewhat talking to another guy recently. I do really like him and want to ask him out, but I have no idea how to tell him about all of this so I've been holding off 😅 I have had multiple partners before, but the other guy already knew us as being poly so that conversation has never been an issue.

I am single and didn’t enter my first relationship until a few months ago. It was a toxic relationship I had with someone I met online and it didn’t last long for multiple reasons. I wouldn’t do it again unless it was someone I was really enthusiastic about and they were comfortable with my preference of living separately and not having children.
