The thing that I remember the most from when I started playing as a wee youngin', is that Tabby was mean and ugly but I still really liked her because she was my neighbor. I can't remember how long she stayed or when she left the town but while she was around she was like a mean older sister that I still liked. My most fond memory was getting Whitney's photo in Wild World (only one I got cause I sucked at playing the game when I was a kid lol.) My first ever memory playing was when my brother and I rented Population Growing from Blockbuster, he had been playing it for a while when I started playing, he got mad at me for decorating my house with seashells lol.

i was pretty young when i played wild world so i don't really remember it, so my earliest ac memory was when i opened my city folk game one day and i had gotten this letter from my sister
it really annoyed me as a child but now i just look back and laugh at it

For me it was how I was introduced to the series. When I was younger (like 3-6 years old), my dad would go one business trips a couple times a year. One time he came home and had AC City Folk for the Wii that we had gotten that past Christmas. I remember playing it for a couple days before giving up because I couldn't figure out how to make bells. I picked it up a couple years later out of boredom, and ending up playing it excessively and finding online communities (such as this one) to makes friends and conduct trades!

My first memory of my town is going to Bangle's house and having a fricking party. We were hardcore vibing, it was fantastic. My first memory of the game overall was hanging out with my friend Mia and she showed me New Leaf, and when I was 7ish at the time it sounded boring and then I watched her play it and I was like, OHMYGOSHINEEDTHISGAME

My first AC game was New Leaf, but I was 13 when I got it so my memories are kind of fuzzy. I guess one thing I still remember very clearly from my early days was seeing a new villager plot a few days after I started my town. "Julian? Like the lemur from Madagascar?" was my exact thought. Extremely girly me was ecstatic to learn that he was in fact a unicorn lol.

I remember Rasher, Dora and Dotty were my starters in Wild World. As this was long before getting favourite villagers was a thing (at least for me) I treated all three of them like my BFFs. I found Rasher a bit freaky at first but he definitely grew on me and I ended up loving him just as much as the other two.
I still grow close to certain villagers today but nothing compares to 10 year old me being BFFs with those three.

I was a young adult when Animal Crossing came out for the GameCube. I was visiting my family and my younger brother told me he had a new game that I just had to play because he knew how much I loved animals. I started up a town on my brother's GameCube and the first villager I encountered was this grouchy old bear (Grizzly) who told me to get lost! Maybe I'm weird, but it was love at first sight.

My sister made me make an account when I played NL for the first time. I remember putting my house down by the river and meeting Bluebear for the first time. I also vaguely remember despising how the starter character looked and I made my sister do my hair for me because I couldn't figure out how the hairstyle mechanics worked lol

My first memory is seeing the box for the original Animal Crossing game for Gamecube in the store and thinking "cute animals? this is MADE for me!" and then buying it and, not understanding the game, thinking "I'm gonna be a cat". Then I realized I was stuck being a human (super lame) and got annoyed that Rover assumed I was a boy because I was cool. Also, I didn't know I'd have to name my town and, caught off guard, started to name it after the state my family enjoyed vacationing every year. But I ran out of letters. Still, Northdak was a delightful little town and, when I got more memory cards, I had a full set of four daks- North, South, and even East and West.
I also remember my BFF and I picking "boyfriends" in the game. Mine was Aziz (he only appeared in that game in the U.S.) and hers was Pierce. Then, Pierce moved and she was sad (for those who never played before NH- villagers used to move out with no warning, it was horrifying
) Then he moved in to my town (same Pierce, since we visited each other a lot) and I was like "lol he moved in to my town" and, for a split second, she seemed legit mad I "stole" her boyfriend 
Needless to say, when I saw him on a Nook Miles island, I HAD to have him move onto my island!

My first memory was actually when ACNH came out earlier this year. It was right before the virus hit my country so I was hanging out with some friends who were all very jealous I was able to get the game on the release date. I remember proudly showing them how cute the villager version of me was lol. One of my friends also had apparently never held a Switch before so I had to teach her how to walk in the game. It already seems like such a long time ago now... Either way it was a good memory.

my earliest memory was from way back in Jan-Feb 2008, around the time I started my first town on the gamecube. I remember wanting to make my house beach themed, so I picked up a bunch of shells on the beach and put them in my house. I also made a design with a palm tree, sand and blue sky to put on my wall, and I was very disappointed to find that the design would only appear in tiles across the wall, not stretched out over the whole wall like I intended lol.

I picked up an old copy without a case from a garage sale for $5 and then I plugged it into my ds and started playing it. There were two villagers, "Robbert" (yes, it was spelled like that) and "O" of "Fartville." I walked outside and Lyle tried to get me to buy Life Insurance. Fartville had 4 residents and I quickly reset it, naming my new town Hopetown.

my earliest memory is of my first night with wild world; i had gotten it as a christmas present and was sitting next to my mother when i finally loaded it up. i don’t remember much about that night but i do remember how confused i was lmao. for some reason, my tiny brain couldn’t interpret instructions and so even when given hints on what to do, i was still walking around my town aimlessly lol. however, the main thing that stands out to me from this night is the first villager that i met, which was tangy. she was the very first villager that i encountered ever and while i didn’t think much of it then, it’s made her incredibly special to me now :’^)

I really wish I could remember! I do recall having certain villagers in my first game(s) like Rasher, Eunice, & Muffy to name a few, but I have a horrible memory and it's been waaay too long for me, lol.

The only memory I remember was when I first got Animal Crossing: Wild World on the ds after watching my old best friend play it, and I sorta remember the little area I was in and that's where I met my first villager. It was Mitzi and I have always loved her since and have considered her my bestest friend in any Animal Crossing game. I'm always happy having her around and can't wait to invite her in through Amiibo on my New Horizons game.
