What is your first language?

English. I learned Cantonese Chinese from my parents, but in no way do I take lessons or anything. It's really just picking it up from them, though it's pretty much impossible for me to actually even form one coherent sentence in that language.

Tagalog, but I ended up losing it when I started going to daycare. I'm trying to re-learn it along with French & German.

Spanish~ But I grew up attending a bilingual school so I learned both English + Spanish at similar speeds. ^_^; I can also sorta understand portuguese due to how similar it is to spanish.

Portuguese is my first language, but not my default. English is my default language. It's weird even when I dream, people who are suppose to be speaking in Portuguese are speaking in English. Freaks me out sometimes.

technically, irish is my first language as it is the native and official language of my country, but i have a better degree of fluency in english than i do in irish.

so either english or irish, i guess!
